Really pleased with JPV Carpentry and the quality of work that they completed. Jacob was the first to respond to my posted job, offered to come over soon after and arrived promptly (doesn't sound like much, but others weren't so eager....) He offered a fair price and confirmed a start date that he stuck to. The work itself was completed to a really high standard and I couldn't have asked for more. I wouldn't hesitate to use again and would highly recommend.

I hired Dan from WESTCOURT GMC to clear my mum’s garden in Harpenden, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the very start, his communication was excellent, making the whole process incredibly smooth and straightforward. Dan arrived on time and worked exceptionally hard. He dealt with a massive multitude of plants and overgrown weeds incredibly quickly, transforming the garden in no time. Professional, friendly, reliable and excellent communication from start to finish. Tom helped to completely transform our new home, painting 3 bedrooms, kitchen, living room, stairways and landings and all woodwork in great time. He was able to help advise us on paint and colours and provided an excellent colour-matching service. He worked very cleanly and finished everything off to perfection. I would recommend him to anyone and we plan on using him again in the future.

We recently had a partition wall installed to create an office space in our lounge. Howard relocated the ceiling light into the new office space as well as repositioning the light switch into the partition wall. He also installed a new double socket to our lounge where there was previously no power, drilling through from the adjoining room. It was a messy job but he cleaned up everything behind him. Really happy with his work. Communication was great from start to finish, really nice guy nothing was too much trouble. Have already booked him in for some other jobs. Would highly recommend.

Davis is a nice chap and this job was for painting. He is a plasterer by trade. We did 3 days. Day 1 was rolling walls and was fine. Day 2 and 3 was mainly woodwork, satin. I’ve never seen so many runs in paint work. Whilst the job wasn’t finished that is no way to paint a first coat. I had to sand down all the work to remove the runs and even found he’d painted over a label on the mdf. So his two days cost me his labour, plus time to rub it all down and repaint it all. He did work hard and did quite a bit across the 3 days. But painting woodwork is not his thing and afraid was very costly for me to put right. I have been honest and have videos of the work. Please note this was for decoration work not plastering.

Andi and his team were amazing. They removed the existing plasterboard ceiling and replaced it then plastered the walls and ceiling. His price was very reasonable and job was done to a very high standard. His team were very friendly and their work was clean. Andi even went out his way to help me pick up a few heavy items from shops and load it in his van. Cannot fault his work and finished work on the time scale given. Recommend to all. Thanks to Andi and his team for giving my house a fresh look.
