We have been working with Derek Borkiewicz (Sebek Construction) on a renovation of a garden flat in Little Venice since last autumn. We needed to completely restore the whole flat, including the garden. This was our second renovation project and by this time we knew what we wanted to do, which mistakes to avoid and what to pretend from a qualified builder. We will never stop saying how lucky we have been to find Derek and his team! Derek is not only a professional builder who is very careful to the smallest of the details. He is not only a very good project manager who is constantly checking the work of his men. Derek is a friend who takes on board a project like it is his own project. He suggested the most convenient and best solutions for any problem we came across during the works. There wasn’t a time when he didn’t know what to do to solve a difficult situation (and there are lots of small and big issues coming up in a renovation work) no matter how complicate they were and how long it took to solve them. His availability and his courtesy are incredible above all in a fast running city like London. This is priceless to us. His hard work can be seen in the wonderful result we reached with this garden flat. If we ever decide to work on another project we won’t think twice about working with Derek once again. In fact, now that we found the perfect man to work with, we are looking forward to finding another renovation project to work on! Monica

Simon was very easy to work with. He was professional, polite and very helpful. He came over at short notice to quote, take paint samples to match to existing paintwork, and even offered to do the work over the weekend so that it was ready for new tenants to move in. He did a great job and left the flat clean and tidy, and most importantly, came in on budget. Would highly recommend.

We hired Zebra Property for a complete strip out and refurbishment of a GF flat. The JOB: The job included initial removal of existing bathroom, kitchen and flooring. The works itself were for a side return wrap around kitchen extension, basement refit, installation of new kitchen and bathroom, new windows (including velux) and bifold doors, tiling and complete decoration throughout. FEEDBACK: Zebra were a great company to work with on this job. Communication levels were clear. There were inevitable delays to the project but there was always a focus to get back on track and deliver as quickly as possible. The resulting finish is a high standard throughout the property, with any minor snags completed quickly. Thank you!

Martin is a very attentive, multi skilled and thoughtful worker. His quote is accurate and honest. Most builders I have hired in the past offer a better price but then there is almost always additional 'hidden' costs. Martins work is thorough and works to completion. I would always hire Martin for a complete honest job knowing that I will get what I pay for. I would highly recommend him.

Lee did a great job of adding a further 200mm of mineral wool insulation to our loft after adding hoods to the downlights in the bedroom and upstair landing. He was thorough and careful at all times and completed the job in under two days in very hot weather. I particularly appreciated that he took back a roll of surplus insulation and gave us some credit for it.
