We were impressed from the outset by the approach of Rob and Pete. Their modern approach, the use of an ipad at our initial meeting, brought the tired old world of building and builders well into the 21st Century. Despite their obvious youth, their approach to communication with us and their ethos about their work showed a maturity lacking in many established building firms Their portfolio was not extensive but we were impressed by what we did see and we followed up their references too which gleaned glowing reports. This was obviously a business in its infancy but Rob and Pete were the hungriest for our business and therefore worked hard to reassure us they would meet our specifications. We felt such an impressive start deserved to be awarded our business opportunity. We have experienced many building firms and builders over the years and are well versed in the pit falls and potential for disasters between builder and employer. We can therefore state with absolute assurance that with Oak Developments we hit the jackpot. From start to finish the project ran without a hitch. Absences (though few and far between) were always informed and the project ran to schedule and on budget. Liaison with the trades and project management was handled by Oak but they kept us in the link throughout. After 16 weeks our project was signed off to our absolute delight and without hesitation we highly recommend this company to all.

John did an excellent job of fixing hole in my attic from where Squirrel was gaining entry and repairing my roof. John knows what he is talking about and has extensive experience in this field. He gave me options of lots of tried and tested solutions and we finally agreed on one. John found other places on my proof which needed fixing and gave me a very genuine quote as add on which I opted as well saving money. Hole in my attic is fixed now and I am hoping no more squirrels in my attic. I am very happy with the roof repair work done. Great work John.

Mr Clinton Biggs did quite a bit of work for us, he decorated the whole house, installing panelling in most of the room’s and hallway, installing cornice in all rooms, painting and general repairs, completely replacing bathroom and en-suite,. He also did a complete make over of the garden, installing decking and slate paving, building raised beds and installing an arch. He completed work for our Son, installing decking in the garden and decorating his house. When working on our house he was approached by our neighbour, who asked him to decorate his hallway, and other rooms, which he did. I highly recommend Mr Clinton Biggs to be an excellent builder/decorator, he is trustworthy and reliable. I also found him to be good value for money.

Nick and his colleague came to replace our garden fence, build a pergola and a new side gate. I cannot recommend to him enough. Nick was helpful, reliable and his work was amazing. Our new fence looks great, as does the side gate. And the pergola is stunning at the bottom of the garden. So much hard work went into making sure everything was perfect, how we wanted it and even clean and tidy at the end of each day. We weren’t too sure what design we wanted, but Nick helped us choose and expertly built it to how we wanted it. I have nothing but good things to say about the hard work and the professionalism from start to finish. Even working in torrential rain for hours! He was also a massive hit with my two young children who wanted to watch what was going on in their garden. Thank you to Nick and the team for the hard work. We are delighted with the results.
