PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS TRADESMAN. The gentleman was very pleasant and appeared to be able to offer us the service that we required which was to demolish two small walls, build a small wall and slab a patio area. Following agreement about price he advised that he could only work at weekends which appeared to be ok. He completed the knocking down of the walls and the building of the small wall over two weekends and then on the third weekend we were unable to be present on the job due to a planned holiday and he proceeded to lay almost all of the patio but on our return we found every slab was rocking and he agreed that it was a mess and proceeded to lift and relay all slabs on the fourth weekend. The following weekend he advised he was not going to be available as he was going on holiday and we gave him £2000 in cash on the understanding that he would return and finish the slabbing and the rest of the job. The following weekend he did not come and we asked him when the job would be completed, he agreed to come the following Friday. We asked him to confirm if we needed more products and he text a list of products required which we purchased and had delivered on the Thursday. Friday arrived and we received a text to say he was not coming back to finish the job. We have now had to instruct another contractor at further expense to relay all slabs and complete the outstanding work. AVOID THIS TRADESMAN AT ALL COSTS.

Jordon and frazer did an amazing job.They were removing the inappropriate cement pointing that was trapping water and causing dampness and leakage on a honey coloured sandstone building. This is a tricky job and takes great care as it needs a lime based mortar that needs to be carefully applied and dried. This then allows the building to breathe and shed water.( I know this because Jordon explained it to me.) If you need this sort of work done be careful to get somebody who really knows what they are doing otherwise you could be causing more long term damage! Do yourself a favour and employ Jordon. In addition he is a lovely guy and his costs are fair.
