Luke seemed very efficient and helpful in the run up to starting our project, however he completely stopped communicating with us the weekend before the work was suppose to start. We had had to clear the room and move out of our house in order for him to do the work (we have a small baby so this is not a simple task), he then did not turn up on Monday and was not answering his phone or texts. It was not until the next day that we heard from him, we understand that he had personal problems that prevented him from working however we would have appreciated being told this before. Very disappointed as we were excited for the work to be done.

Tom presented a very reasonable but competitive quote and we hired him to build a storm porch (half stone, with oak joinery) for the front of our house. We are delighted with the outcome of the work, which is constructed to a very high standard (stonework wall, reclaimed tile double-hipped roof, concrete slab/step, and oak frame). Tom and his colleagues were very friendly and polite, consulted us at every decision point, and always responded to questions. Particularly important for us, they always turned up when they'd arranged to do so and informed us if they were going to be delayed. They also left the site clean and tidy promptly following the completion of the work. I would recommend Tom highly and would be very happy to engage him again.

We have been advised by our local plumber (who was too busy to do the job at the time) that the cylinder has to come out and be replumbed. Brian was very pleasant and worked hard but the complexity of the job was beyond him. We have already had an electrician to fit a new thermostat and re wire everything. Once we turned off the heating the hot water does not work. We have also had to pay for an electrician to rewire the thermostat another £228 we now have to take the cylinder out to redo the job😢

Didnt want to give one star very unreliable never on time one day turned up one and a half hours late out of six days only worked three and a half days we paid him half of the money but didn't return to finish the work he left us with not even a half finished kitchen so we had to find a new kitchen fitter which he has flagged many aspects not performed with reasonable care and skill. He left us with electrial wires exposed and sockets hanging off the walls we had a water leak under the new sink which went all over the brand new cupboard he came to fix it but had the same problem the next day he did come back again to fix it but not very impressed you don't expect the same water leak twice In the payment we had paid was an amount for materials that were not used we did ask for them but he refused however he has said he would refund the amount but only on the basis we remove the negative feedback
