I would highly recommend Stephen Woolgar from SDW Electric for electrical work. He provided a very competitive quote and along with being very good at his trade, Stephen is a very polite, intelligent and accommodating Electrician. Stephen is not only able to forsee possible issues with an electrical proposal on paper and thus advise accordingly but is also able to solve unforeseen problems presented on site. This is especially important in my project which was the provision of electrical supply for a future kitchen on the first floor in a 130 year old traditional house. The project, in the end, was only electrical as far as SDW Electrical was concerned. From the first meeting Stephen was very engaging and showed he was able to understand and tease out my requirements for the project which wasn’t completely formulated as I am not an Electrician. As is often with such projects, needs change and develop on advice and discussion which Stephen was very accommodating with and understanding of. Living in a house surrounded by materials required for a large renovation project impacts on ones life which can be and often is stressful. Stephen, in understanding that, helped by being very respectful of our situation, thus reducing any possible further stress. Stephen was on programme with his work but was very accommodating with some delays due to other ongoing trades. Thank you for being so understanding of this Stephen. I look forward to working with you again.

My partner and I hired Alonso and Alex to undertake a full renovation of our 3-bedroom house in SE8. Having received quotes from several other contractors, the moment we met them, it was clear they were clear communicators, approachable and dedicated to their clients. We’re incredibly happy with the work they did. The scope of work was highly varied, including rectifying historical damp issues in the lower ground room, external repairs to the roof drains and chimney, installing two new bathrooms, plus all the other internal and external work you’d expect from a full renovation. All of which was completed to a very high standard! They were always open to discussing and rectifying anything we weren’t completely happy with, or problem-solving whenever unexpected issues arose (which always happens when renovating a property of this size!). The team are lovely, trustworthy people who are a genuine pleasure to have in your home. I can’t recommend them highly enough.

Our boiler broke just before Christmas and Chris was amazing as advising us and installing us a new one in such short notice. We felt reassured that he was a Worcester Boch certified installer too. I would definitely recommend him.

110% satisfied, 10/10. So glad we chose Dave and the team at DK Tiling. The Bathroom looks amazing and the team really did go above and beyond. Communication was excellent, we knew where and when they would turn up and also the work they planned to have completed on each day. I was never disappointed with the results and progression was fast and of the highest quality. Dave consulted us on the plan and made great suggestions to make sure the end result would be the best it could be. The after care service has been exceptional with Dave checking in with us to make sure we're still happy. This is not a fix it and leave service, these guys will continue to support even once the job has been completed. The team are friendly, well spoken and very trustworthy. I always felt happy leaving the team to carry on while I had to pop out on errands. They would also stay as late as needed to get the job done. The finish on the bathroom is superb, the team did such a fantastic job and I've already had people ask me for DK's number for work they need doing. We've not been living at our house very long, it's our first property, so it was always a concern about what the guys would find once the old bathroom had been torn out. As it goes, there were a number of issues discovered but the team handled it all very professionally and now we have a bathroom that's perfectly fitted and of A+ standard. Please make sure you shortlist DK Tiling, you won't be disappointed!

We hired them for a large landscaping project involving demolition, paving, tile work, lighting, painting and planting, and we’re really pleased with the results so far. They even helped with sourcing items I had trouble procuring while I was away, which I really appreciate. It ended up being a bigger and more complex job than expected, including some surprise structural work to rebuild the staircase. They handled this fairly and professionally, and Arnold was always very responsive. For a project of this size, especially with a small team, they worked hard and took care to get things right. Overall, they were fair, reliable and easy to deal with, and I’m happy to give them a 5-star review and have already recommended them to friends.

A while since the works have been done, which is the best time to give feedback. I got Fitor to do an overhaul of the 2nd bedroom after this main bedroom. Because I obviously was content with the quality of his work. Where there were snags, he rectified them without complaint. Biggest compliment is that Fitor is amiable and you can comfortably talk to him as a non-builder with him and he is sympathetic to your concerns (other builders tend to be very quick to try an add to the cost or dismiss your complaint).

Eli did an excellent job in refurbishing the new home I bought. There was quite a bit to do - painting the whole house, replacing a WC, replacing light fixtures, replacing floor etc etc. Eli is very patient and flexible. He coped with my ever changing requirements brilliantly, and always with a smile. He is very calm and collected and provide ideas when you look for them. Quality of his work is very high and he is reasonably priced. Above all, his professional approach and willingness to go extra mile to finish the work at a high standard is commendable. I would highly recommend Eli to anyone.
