I’ve waited a week before giving feedback just in case I overreacted. NO I HAVEN'T OVERREACTED. The job was discussed beforehand with Amishadai, & whilst I said ‘it wasn’t the Ritz’, I told him that ‘ALL’ ceilings & walls should be double coated with emulsion, a coat of Undercoat & Top coat on doors & skirtings & NO painting the UPVC window frames. A price was agreed. Disappointed with the work is putting it mildly. Amishadai & colleague completed the work in two & a half days (you can't do that job properly in less than 4 days – All paint has to dry, particularly Oil based paints). There is paint over the: Window frames, Natural Wood curtain rail brackets were painted (Why?), Hall light ceiling rose, 13 amp Plugs, Light Switches, Electric Meter Box & Door handles (did they even bother ‘cutting in’ with a BRUSH?). Half the skirting doesn't appear to have been painted in either an undercoat or top coat (just splodged in emulsion from the roller), I don’t even think some of the doors were undercoated first either. Amishadai appears to have watered down the ‘WHITE’ emulsion paint (To my knowledge you only water down emulsion if you are painting directly over new plaster), & one of the rooms looks like it didn’t even get the 2nd coat of emulsion. This company certainly didn't provide me with what I have paid them for. In conclusion, I would advise anyone on here to avoid this company. No, I haven’t overreacted, I have the photos to prove it.

Romulus and his dad were just great. They painted all walls, ceilings are doors in my 2 bed flat in 5.5 days! They worked really hard, the price was very reasonable, they did the job very very well. Couldn't recommend these guys enough!

Superb. I can not recommend Hassan more highly. He cares about his craft and is super talented. It is rare to work with someone who actually cares and takes pride in his work, Hassan is one of them. He is willing to work extremely hard (again so rare these days), and yet at the end of each long day he makes time to clean up - this shows pride in his work. My previous bathroom fitters did a very bad job with the bathroom and cloakroom toilet and left it unfinished. I am so glad I went with JM Building service as Joe and Martin completely transformed both rooms. They rectified the previous fitters errors and completed the rooms. Joe didn’t just rush through the job to get it done quickly—he took his time, ensuring every detail was finished to a high standard. He worked meticulously, making adjustments until everything looked exactly as it should, rather than settling for ‘good enough.’ His dedication to quality and precision was evident throughout, and the end result speaks for itself. A really excellent set up of builders. Peter was great in evaluating the work and what we needed done. Sue was clear in her communication on costs, and then execution of the works by Taras and his team was superb. The extension was built in fantastic time-frame, and the end result is great. The work-ethic of the builders is what really makes them so good. They are on-time every day, and relentless with working hard each day.

George, the manager of DRG Property Engineers, was very knowledgeable, smart, competent, efficent, reliable and honest, I cannot recommend him enough! George stepped into my works and sorted out numerous issues that my former builder had failed to complete including: - redoing a walk-in shower base and walls, installing a membrane to ensure that it was waterproof and thereafter tiling the base and walls; - treating the bedroom wall on the other side of the shower for mold, changing the skirting board and replastering the wall; rectifying a partition wall and window fitting such that the window could close; - preparing walls and ceilings for painting and thereafter painting and finishing off the walls; - installing shelves and finishing off the walls such that all looked perfect; - sanding and treating/varnishing a wooden bathroom worktop to avoid water marks and stains. I cannot recommend George enough and you will definitely not go wrong in having him do your works!
