excellent job done I am so happy I had brick walls and a brick porch window and door done by this man Richard and it is top class looks so smart he worked well cleaned his mess up and was not slap happy with the brick work and turned up on time every day, I watched him a couple of times out the window and he does the work to perfection and on top of that his price was good I am having future work done by him as I have a good builder now and I intend to have the work done by him all the time I was wary after another builder recommended by a friend done a bad job and took my money and did not return but that's in the past now and RMS has put everything right . p.s people are driving past my house nearly bumping into each other looking at my garden and walls and porch as I live on a main road also everyone walking by has said it looks very nice I have even had a note put through my letter box from one of the neighbours saying it looks beautifull :-) I recommend this builder so much now I have had a job well done.

He replaced a garden gate for me, which started to crack on two points and for a few millimetres all the way down the height of the gate, literally after a few days. I informed him of this. He responded initially by saying that it can happen. I sent him a photo of my drive way fence which does not have a single crack after few years of installation. Then he has not responded the messages for last few weeks. It appears to me that the quality of the wood is poor and probable the work, and of lack communication from him is unacceptable. This job was unsatisfactory and it is his responsibility to fix the gate ASAP.

I could not recommend Dale Smith. Whilst he did a reasonable job removing the fitted bedroom furniture, he did not fulfil the brief. He did not make good the walls and ceiling to an acceptable standard. It was less than a days work and I was paying him nearly £800. He fitted all the furniture into his van, ready to take to the tip. When I asked him to return to complete the job, he replied that if I didn’t pay him he would return and leave all the fitted furniture on my door step. I paid him £700 but then had to employ another tradesperson to fill the holes left in the walls and ceiling, so that I could have the room painted.

Totally unreliable and useless. Made first appointment and failed to appear at job site. Luigi was phoned to check on his whereabouts , his excuse was that he had forgotten all about the job in question. Made second appointment to come and do the job in question exactly the same thing happened again, no show. When contacted he admitted that he had completely forgotten once again. J + L proved themselves to be unreliable and completely untrustworthy. Needless to say they were not given a third chance to let me down. I rate them as 0 out of 10. Definitely not recommended.

Very very disappointed the work he has done. I am going to raise an official complain to trading standards about the work he has done. Its not safe at all . He installed 6 new panels and replaced 2 posts so he just bought 6 fence panels and 2 post which is not more than £140 pounds as panels are rubbish ones which you can get it from B&Q for £ 22 per panel and he didn’t buy anything else so he used old hinges and too much gap from bottom so didn’t put gravel board or anything. He was in a rush and had do e rubbish job . Total waste of money. My neighbours witnessed his work and was also keep telling him that you are missing screws here and here and they feel that this is not safe as well and asked me to go through trading standards. I don’t want to be rude and never ever wanted to put negative feedback for anyone but safety comes first as i have kids and i paid extra money to him that he will do the work properly but he was just interested in money. People need to understand that in this COVID-19 situation everyone is struggling financially and ripping of someone is not acceptable so i will go to Trading standards and will share his work he did as i have taken pics and also my neighbours witnessed the work as well so will see but i am very disappointed. Honestly speaking I would not recommend to anyone. Thanks

Absolute disgrace of a tradesman!! After I phoned & confirmed job was told no problem I will see you Tuesday, Tuesday came and he turned up 1hr late (good start) got ladder, pva glue, dust sheet out of van started brushing on pva and then once my partner was busy in kitchen he packed up (quiet as a mouse) and left without saying a word. Tried phoning for a reason why and telephone calls being ignored. So NO I don't recommend him.

John & Trevor were very punctual , did a great job and cleaned up every day . They re-pointed the side of house and partly re-built a wall and re-pointed that where needed . They worked non-stop , only stopping for a quick cuppa here and there , all in the heat of summer which was not easy ! Overall very happy and would recommend !
