Couldn't fault MDC construction at all. Great workmanship, always arrived when stated, communicated and asked questions throughout the job and discussed ways of completing the job to my satisfaction. At the end of the working day the area was cleaned to a high standard. The final price was actually cheaper than quoted so honesty is also a quality they have. Really good son and father team, would definitely use them again.

At first I thought the man who did my garden was nice the quote for the garden was high 320 pounds but I need it doing so accepted he did the strimming 35 mins I timed it then he mow the lawn a couple time at later date about a hours work but he did not finish it (roughly about 150 pounds work done up till now) then he said he would come a another day to finish the garden but needed another 320 pound from me as a disabled person I found this this outrageous and very exploiting (640 pounds in total he wanted from me I said no and we went our separate ways.

I am very disappointed about everything that has happened since I have decided to hire Josh to do my patio concrete wall and aluminium gate. Everything was a disaster. He builded the concrete block wall on a base of cement of 10 cm deep instead of 45 cm like we agreed. On some parts of the foundation he only put a very thin layer of cement in top of the weed sheet that was previously there directely on the soil. The wall he built against the house was not secured with anything and could have fallen anytime. The walls around the gate was one taller than the other and when he wanted to install the gate it was not possible to put the gate straight. The cement lines between the concrete blocks were not even and the concrete blocks were covered in cement. He saud that this has happened because the concrete block were wet. When I said that I do not like it he said that I can plaster the wall and paint it after that.I told him that I need to call a third party, another professional in order to evaluate the work. He started to shout and to remove the wall so there are no evidences of his mistakes. Him and his wife became verbally aggressive when I pointed the wrong doing of his work and I had to phone the Police. I hired another bricklayer who came to do the wall and the gate and he said that everything from the beginning til the end was wrong done and the wall wouldn’t last more than 6 months. I took pictures and videos of everything. Josh also sent me very disturbing messages.

Neil was brought in to construct a single storey extension to our house After trawling through numerous companies we were delighted to have found Neil as he is a bricklayer to trade unlike most other companies who are joiners who employ bricklayers and grounds workers and we know building an extension requires 80-90 percent brick and ground work and all other externals. From the moment my wife and I met Neil and his team we knew we had found the right builder. Right from the word go we could see the professionalism and after every day's work the site remained tidy.Communication was never an issue as we were always kept in the loop what was happening, when and where. Over all we are delighted that our extension came in at a good price, on time and and looks the way we wanted it too! Neil and his co worker Barry are two very friendly and easy to get on with guys. My wife child minds from home and this can cause a lot of problems when workmen come as we need to make sure the premises are kept safe and secure for the children.Neil and Barry always made sure that there was never any danger around and always maintained a high level of awareness making sure simple things like gates were closed and secured or any work areas were danger free. I also might add that all the kids thought that they were hilarious when they saw them and that in itself of making everyone feel at ease is one of many reasons why we will use Neil again and recommend him to anyone!

Was really impressed with these guys. Helped me order the correct garden door and then went to pick up extra bits when the order didn't turn up correctly, for no extra cost and couldn't have been nicer about it, even though it was a pain for them. Really cheerful and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. Would use them again, for sure.

Peter Woodruff submitted an estimate on 25 February to replace our fence, saying that it would be completed in 2 - 3 weeks. Three weeks later, having heard nothing from Woodvalegroundworks, we asked what the hold up was, and they replied that they were held up by wet weather, but it would be done in another 2 - 3 weeks. Once again the time passed and once again we heard nothing. I asked Peter Woodruff to complete the job this week as our neighbour's dogs are able to get into our garden, causing problems. He said that 'no he couldn't.' We are very disappointed at both the lack of honesty and communication from this firm. Peter Woodruff strung us along and wasted our time, rather than saying that he wasn't really interested in our job and had given it low priority (we only have a small garden, so not much fencing is needed). We have now hired someone else, and wish we had done so sooner. We would not recommend Woodvalegroundworks unless you like waiting indefinitely for a job to be done, and I would never hire them again.

My wife and I recently had a complete garden overhaul which involved leveling our garden, installing approximately 40 railway sleepers, laying a large Indian sandstone patio, and new lawn, all of which was completed in a little under two weeks. Nathan and Jimmy were a pleasure to have around, they were polite, professional, hard working , and always arrived on time. I would highly recommend NJC building services, their work is to an extremely high standard and they are only happy at the end of a project if the customer is happy. I will definitely recommend NJC Building Services to friends and family, and will also be using them next year when I intend to have a new driveway installed. Kieran did an awesome job of both enlarging my loft hatch, fitting a loft ladder and both tiling and flooring my bathroom. He is super helpful and a really nice guy who will always do his utmost to make sure the client is happy. Kieran has also done work for two of my neighbours who can't speak highly enough of his work. I can recommend KVC 100% and will definitely be using Kieran again in the future!
