Pos- Gheorge was respectful when entering home. Fence is now completed & looks much better. Thank you Ion & Constantine who also worked very well. Neg- Terrible communication, Rushing, Left over materials & not so pleasant towards the end. I ended up having to micromanage, not feeling comfortable leaving them to it. A few fence panels were taken down in the beginning as the quality of work was messy. I was going to be charged for paint brushes etc. But declined. I repeatedly asked if nails & other materials were needed in the beginning & was told no then was given reciepts. I also feel using B&Q on larger projects as professionals is not cost effective. I was also assured the left over materials would be bought which didnt happen. Its quite disappointing when the work is over after having to oversee and constantly buy extra material for it to be done to a decent standard, to then be given reciepts for things that where never explained or agreed is deflating and though the price quoted I paid in full Im currently £47 worth of reciepts outstanding. Im not sure if because i am a women i was expected to not notice. I believe due to the language barrier it can be a little overwhelming. Had i been told exactly what was needed when i continuously asked i wouldnt be so out of pocket & in this mess and although to give & take i left room just incase extra materials were needed it became excessive leaving me out of pocket. Now im made to feel as if im witholding the money.

Christian was the only tradesperson who personally visited the job before quoting. He gave me the quote the same day and was able to start work the next morning! He assessed that the concrete fence post would need to be replaced with a longer one, not just lowered. He still gave a more reasonable quote than the others who weren't allowing for this. He used more postcrete and a longer post than he'd quoted for, to be certain the fence panel would be secure, but didn't increase the price. He also lowered the fence panel to fill the gap caused by our sloping garden. Christian left the job tidy and clean. I have already recommended him to a friend who has had her bathroom door replaced by him.

Great job done on the fence today. Even though they discovered an unexpected issue with a massive rock where a post should be, they persevered and finished the job as promised. The fence looks great and they left the site totally clean and tidy, and they removed all the debris. I have no hessitation in recommending them and i have already booked them for some additional work, Ian

It’s always nerve racking to select a trades person on here that has no feedback but got Modestas to come and quote because looking at the work he has put up from a carpentry point of view he clearly knew what he was doing. After getting quotes I decided to go ahead with Modestas to construct my pitch roof and to then do the facials and soffits. I’m really happy with the work and timely manor he had it done in. He is good value for money, very tidy and will be getting him in for further work in the coming weeks. If you have him in a shortlist I would 100% recommend this guy.

We hired Bawa to install new fencing, and he did a fantastic job from start to finish. You can immediately tell he’s an all-rounder who understands construction very well. The work was carried out efficiently and to a high standard. Bawa has a great attitude, is very hard-working, and clearly takes pride in what he does. Communication was easy throughout, and the whole process felt smooth and professional. It was a real pleasure having Bawa work for us, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

John and Equity drives were brilliant. I instantly got the impression they were very professional and I wasn't wrong. Their team work extremely hard, very efficient, keep fuss down to a minimum and were very tidy the entire time. It was a joy to watch them in action, I can only describe their operation as a well oiled machine and the finished product looks great. Nothing was too much bother and no corners were cut.
