I cannot leave more positive feedback on Eddie, he did such a sterling job! By working as a team and coming up with useful suggestions he really helped get this project finished on time and on budget. As the house owner the two of us worked alongside each other for two days. Eddie was committed to only the highest standards, very hardworking, polite and never shied away from any task asked of him. I happily recommend him for any similar work. In fact I have a few in mind.

Although I didn't use Petal Gardens for the landscaping and planting work, it was actually a difficult choice because their quote was only marginally above the successful contractor. However, Malvina produced 2 very detailed and attractive 2D & 3D designs at very reasonable cost, and I was so impressed that I decided to use one of them as a basis for the final design.

James Reid arranged with me to attend 6 February a week before, arranging to buy the materials etc but on the day didnt show up or call to advise me he would not be turning up despite my leaving him two voicemails to let me know if he would be turning up on the morning. He didnt turn up. He then texted me later in the afternoon to say he had been contacted by the NHS the day before to go in for an emergency test as someone he was in contact with was tested Positive for COVID and had other family issues and therefore could not notify me in time. He has been a big disappointment to me and I would think twice about hiring him again.

Ricky Knott and his co workers worked hard to erect our back fence. The problem was there was a tree stump in the line of fence and old concrete lumps in the soil,it took long time to make a slot to fit the gravel board, the tree stumps were treated to stop it growing. Good team but one must keep an eye on the work being done and make sure it's done to one's satisfaction as going back to make changes would be difficult. As such there was an issue regarding the height of the fence at one end, once pointed out it was soon resolved. The job was finished to my satisfaction.I believe he is genuinely good, honest & hard working person and have no hesitation in recommending him for any fence work.

I hired him because he seemed very nice and honest. However, there was an issue with something that It wasn't done as I asked him and instead of trying to solve it he came to pick up the tools and leave me hanging with the job. I payed him for a job that he didn't finish and had to finish myself as I could. No attention to detail and wanted to finish things fast so he could move on to another job, which means the job was poorly done. His English is not very well so the communication was poor.
