Christian was the only tradesperson who personally visited the job before quoting. He gave me the quote the same day and was able to start work the next morning! He assessed that the concrete fence post would need to be replaced with a longer one, not just lowered. He still gave a more reasonable quote than the others who weren't allowing for this. He used more postcrete and a longer post than he'd quoted for, to be certain the fence panel would be secure, but didn't increase the price. He also lowered the fence panel to fill the gap caused by our sloping garden. Christian left the job tidy and clean. I have already recommended him to a friend who has had her bathroom door replaced by him.
