Roofing (Flat)- 24 May 2026
Martin came and saw the job promptly. His quote was a little more than another I had had but he made a couple of suggestions and generally demonstrated he knew what he was talking about so I chose him. The job was done quickly and well in a day. It hasn't rained heavily yet but the roof seems perfect. Martin did say that if there were any problems to call him. I am sure everything will be fine but it's nice to have that kind of customer service. Highly recommended!

The guys were more human than just fencers ; they helped clear some trees and then installed the fence. Only advice is - be clear of what you want so they do not have to undo and correct things but they will do everything whole heartedly. Colours and quality of fence vary but decide whether you want to buy own material or have it supplied. The areas with concrete already can be challenging but they managed that very well and very neatly. They clear up the mess from either side and most importantly ; they will give you a good deal better price than most companies !

Extensions- 29 Sep 2026
I instructed ELBA (managed by Ramon) for a full property refurbishment commencing in August 2025. The sub-contracted team led by Ali abandoned the project two months past the agreed deadline, leaving the property unfinished—specifically the kitchen and bathroom. Over a three-week period, more than 40 calls and messages went unanswered. Ultimately, I had to retain and fund another contractor to bring the property to a habitable state. Three months post-completion, a wall leak emerged in the neighboring property—an issue that had never occurred prior to this refurbishment. My attempts to report this to Ramon in January 2026 were met with total avoidance. the leak recurred on September 22nd. Once again, all attempts to engage with Ramon have been ignored. I retain complete timestamped correspondence, and progress photographs.Having exhausted all standard avenues of resolution, I am currently formalizing the evidence dossier to initiate legal proceedings against ELBA and Ramon.

Zen is reliable, incredibly hard-working, clears up beautifully after he finishes each day and offers creative solutions. He re-fenced our garden, but also took on a fair amount of tidying up, as well as power hosing some old garden furniture. We have already recommended him to friends and I would not hesitate to recommend him to others. I think he may be superhuman as he survives solely on tea and coffee and can work pretty much non-stop for ten hours.
