I can throughly recommend Stuart’s work. His quote was competitive and his knowledge and professionalism were excellent. He completed all the work to an high standard in very different weather conditions. He solved any problems quickly and efficiently, removing all waste on completion. We would certainly use him again for any further projects.

Rob was quick to respond to our project request and quoted reasonably for the work. He was really helpful with suggestions and happy to re-use our bricks for one of the walls which look great, so much better than new bricks! Work has been completed now and we couldn't be happier with it. A great job and just in time for us to take full advantage of our new patio area over the summer. Terry and the team did an amazing job with my front garden fence. They changed part of it but also installed a all new section. The communication was great, I was kept on top of each stage of the work schedule. They were really good with advising when I was unsure about what would be the best approach. Really professional throughout, polite, always on time, tidied after themselves, I honestly can't speak highly enough. The main aspect of the job was done brilliantly, I am really happy with the new fence. I've kept their contact for future jobs and would recommend in a heartbeat.

Premium paving and landscaping came and gave me a competitive quote to remove old and broken fence roughly around 20ft long and replaces it with new concrete posts 6” gravel board and new close board panels. They was nice and friendly and left my garden nice and clean highly recommend

Excellent work. Clearly very capable. Nice team of people. Was a really tricky job (remodel wrongly put up huge wooden (6x4m) gazebo posing as a chicken coop and put a roof on) to make it look how it was supposed to be. I was so pleased I got him to sort out all of the other errors the other constructor had made with the chicken / fox wiring. It’s more technical than you think so it really showed off a great skill set. Well done ! Very impressed. They also do a proper days work as they work to a job quote. Will use again.

Whilst I thought Scott seemed a good guy, he mismeasured my new gate, leading to a temporary fix and me having to pay for a brick layer he knew to lay extra bricks to fit the gate. The mortar has cracked, the gate cannot be closed for fear of falling off and Scott did not turn up to correct this despite saying he would. He has not returned my messages and call so now have to get another legitimate company to rectify this- again at further expense. Very disappointed and feel conned !

DJL is a friendly, family-run firm comprising three brothers (at least...) under the supervision of their father. Clearly they know the construction business inside and out, and are able to supply most construction skills inhouse, while others they will contract out (at a price). What started out as (I thought) just a fencing job (albeit a big one), turned into a rebuilding of 20m of wall (and half of it 6' high), and required the refurbishment of an elaborate shed with the replacement of 6 windows, repairs to the roof, the addition of a new garden gate, and an additional repaving of the path, plus all the fences and trellis work - and all because of unrestrained ivy growth over many years, which had concealed the massive damage it had caused to the walls. I have to commend DJL for speeding up the timetable and working through some appalling weather (inc some weekends) while enduring a series of frustrating supply issues (to do with the general shortage of materials). Also for pointing out that with the simple addition of a flat roof I could now turn my parking area into a two car garage and get something back (a job for next year, although DJL did some useful preparation, including adding the power supply). Overall, my experience, while completely unexpected and undeniably painful (ivy!!!), was constructive due to their help and perseverance.
