The job - supply and erect new feather edge board garden fence and gate - was started and completed on 10th March 2022. H&j Fencing arrived on time to start the work and set to removing what remained of the old fence and then preparing the ground and fixings for the new fence. The work involved creating new footings for the fence posts, requiring digging out new positions and widening existing gatepost footings. This was all carried out, as agreed and finished within the day. They took very little time for breaks to ensure they were able to achieve that. All was done to to a high level of workmanship, including construction of the wooden garden gate from scratch, all fitting completed to my satisfaction. They cleared away all the old fencing and any debris to leave only the necessity of a quick sweep up of residual settled dust the following day. The team of two worked diligently, undemandingly - almost had to force them to stop for a drink of tea - and at an acceptable price ... that is always difficult to judge as despite others interest they were the only business that followed up their interest in the work, but, I think, a reasonable quote given and accepted. Overall very satisfied with the work, approach and attitude of this business.
