Ive been in groundworks for 31 years now mainly in new build residential sites putting in the roads and foundations for new houses and then installing all the drains. Once built we carry out all the finishings like the patios, drives and landscaping so it's ready to handover to move in. Generally sites have ranged from 50-150 plots with different style houses. Im now moving away from this to start on my own and not for the big companies anymore. All contractors should have a minimum cscs/cpcs qualification when in construction to prove they have been suitably trained. I also have my smsts which is a site mangers qualification so this shows that I have the experience and knowledge to do the job to a high quality and safly. Also now specialised in resin paths and driveways.
