I'm Tom, the person behind Furze & Fix — a local handyman service based in Furzedown, South London. I've been hands-on with DIY and home improvement projects since studying Design & Technology at school, and over the years that's grown into a genuine passion for building and fixing things properly. I've increasingly been taking on professional work and am now looking to offer my services more widely. I offer a range of general handyman services but my particular strength is joinery — things like decking, shelving, and general woodwork, where I take pride in getting the details right. I have worked in construction for over 35 years. During this time i have refurbished my own house inside and outside. I am punchable and always leave my workplace safe and tidy.Over the years i have done all aspects of groundworks from decking/slab laying/ planting etc and internal projects from worktops/flooring/plaster boarding/painting etc .I have all my own Dewalt tools and hold a current CSCS Health & Safety card.
