We struggled to get anyone interested in our refurbishment project originally, Mark answered an ad for a small part of the job and ended up being able to take on the whole thing thankfully. Our project was to completely strip out a 1960's maisonette flat, install internal insulation which involved extensive battening of all the external walls, new plasterboarding & plastering finishes to walls and ceilings, tiling and a completely new bathroom and kitchen install. To complicate things further, as enthusiastic DIY-ers we wanted to do lots of works ourselves as well and few builders would have worked alongside novices as well as Mark did. He was always happy to give advice or take over works when we realised they were beyond our skills or time ;-) Our project was constantly evolving and challenging - as we discovered hidden rotting floor joists and the joys of 60's engineering - door lintels - who needs those?! Mark was always there to help us problem solve and get the job done professionally and to high standards and this was all done throughout the challenging last year of lockdowns etc. Without hesitation we'd recommend Mark and his team. He was always reliable, flexible as the project developed and had excellent attention to detail and we couldn't have completed our project without him. Thank you Mark!

James came up to have a look at the job and assured me it was no problem. He gave me an excellent price and a date to suit me. He and Billy worked really hard to get the job done as quickly as they possibly could, and I am absolutely over the moon with the results. We are already planning lots more jobs for the house. Would highly reccomend!

The fence they did on our roof is good. The garden gate, however, doesn't open or close easily and sometimes not at all. Often, it swings open with the wind, defeating the point of a gate entirely. They also drilled a hole in one of the poles, and filled it with white, which looks super ugly. They have also been ignoring our messages, so we will have to shell out more cash to get someone else to fix it. It's a shame. I wish we went with someone else.

I gave him the opportunity as I was desperate to find someone fast, and didn’t have much success on here.Soon as he accepted,he was already asking for cash beforehand to get materials.I thought you know what, his company details are online, what can go wrong so I did.As his team started the job, they told me I needed to have 2 fences erected as they were badly damaged and deteriorating.I thought heck, why not, might aswell do it now so I gave him again, the opportunity to make some extra business with us.Again, was asked for some pre payment to get the materials, all in cash. All was finished within 2days of the weekend.Fence looked fine, but the roof just looked like a cowboy job.I didn’t complain,as it was done fast, with all the stress with opening a new business,it was one less headache out of the way. After 1 day of rain, the roof was already leaking, like absolutely everywhere.Called him, and he got someone to come by a few days after to fill in more silicone.(Very suspect job again).I thought fine, aslong he’s responding and trying to fix the situation.Fast forward few days later, bearing in mind the shop isn’t open and I’m not always there when it’s raining,it rained again and it was leaking in some areas again.Whatsapped him which is how we normally communicated, called him, read my messages but no reply. Now he has blocked me.Seriously, how he knows I’m opening a business soon this is how he wants to treat his customers. Simply give me back my money or fix the problem, simple!
