I was very impressed with Andy's professionalism and respectful attitude. My garden was a complete mess, which needed gravel moving, copious amounts of weeds removing and new liner being laid and the gravel replaced. Also my garden gate did not open properly without force and my large plant pots were full of dead plants which were well and truly imbedded. Andy carried out all of the above with great diligence, he worked hard and I was absolutely thrilled with the end result! Andy has a great work ethic, a lovely personality and attitude and I would highly recommend him, I will definitely be using his services again!

Totally unreliable and useless. Made first appointment and failed to appear at job site. Luigi was phoned to check on his whereabouts , his excuse was that he had forgotten all about the job in question. Made second appointment to come and do the job in question exactly the same thing happened again, no show. When contacted he admitted that he had completely forgotten once again. J + L proved themselves to be unreliable and completely untrustworthy. Needless to say they were not given a third chance to let me down. I rate them as 0 out of 10. Definitely not recommended.

August 2024: Jeremy Mills took £3,200, made our home unsafe by removing a load bearing wall and disappeared without a trace. DO NOT HIRE! He was hired for a bathroom extension. We are expecting our second child in January 2025 we needed the bathroom. Jerry has extorted us for money, whilst working a day a week and not doing the work we asked him too. Instead he removed a wall that was structurally needed. He is incompetent, over promise and not deliver. He says he had a team of experts but it is just him. He is a brick layer yet he promises plumbing and electrical work. He falsely advertising 30 years experience but he has none. The "contract " he gives is worthless. He does not give an invoice. He disappeared with our money, blocked our numbers. We are left in an unsafe house with no bathroom, no bedroom and no money

Stuart did mainly carpentry and joinery work on our grade II listed 18th century house. He installed lots of cupboards in awkward places, he did cladding in the bathroom, and reworked the banister. I got along with Stuart very well, I found him to be reliable and was very happy with the work he carried out. He was professional and the quality was good, he rose to the occasion. His quote was reasonable, I'd be happy to use him again and recommend him to others.
