Latest review:Fencing-It all started really well. Bill arrived on time to measure up and quote the work. I paid the 25% deposit upfront for materials. So far so good. The materials were delivered over the w/end and the lads started working on my fencing project the following Monday. Not a bad job really other than the following: My back garden now looks like a ploughed park - the fencing team did have chipwood boards that I assumed were to be used to give some protection to the lawn, silly me! A significant proportion of the fence planks are only partially secured - they ran out of screws, which is ironic because I found lots of them on the lawn as I was repairing all the ground damage The side gate (Bill said the original gate was a mess and he would replace with a new improved version). Not so much, the "new" gate is an absolute disgrace, made up of a hodge podge of leftovers, including one of the original old degraded fence posts as a support Multiple emails and phone calls later - nothing! Steer clear!!

He also made a terrific job of building a stone wall at the end of a shed. His professionalism and attention to detail were superb - even to the point of rebuilding a garden wall that he was not happy with. The work place was kept tidy during the job and everything was taken off site when the work was completed, leaving the garden/drive in the same state as he found it. Richard was very accommodating and understanding when small design tweaks were suggested. He was also tolerant of our new puppy stealing his gloves, sponges and brushes! I would not hesitate to recommend Richard and Scot-land-Scaping to do similar work.

Latest review:Husband's family were in the building trade so husband saying he was pleased with their work is no mean feat. I highly recommend Danny and his team at Laurdan Deeside for any and all of your construction needs. Our garden landscaping project turned into a progressive big project after having to remove dangerous trees beside a burn to the rear of our property. To solve the potential problem of our garden flooding again Danny suggested building a bank using locally sourced granite boulders, the first of many excellent suggestions. Aberdeenshire Council were so impressed with his embankment with boulders that they asked for a business card to send him work. The finished result is amazing and means that we have regained about 2 metres of garden that was a slope into the burn and our garden should not flood in future. This was only one part of the build. They completed a very substantial cabin base with balustrade beside the burn, a concrete decking area, a new pergola, 3 patios, numerous paths, drainage & lawn drainage, replacement guttering/downpipes, roof repairs and broken tile replacements, two sets of steps to the house plus a disabled access ramp, a new woodshed, erected a greenhouse, complete re-fencing of the rear garden with landscaping and turf laid in front and rear gardens. They worked during the coldest months in wind, frost and rain and were still able to smile! They have all been absolutely amazing. Brilliant job. - Hiedi
