We asked Roger to remodel our ground floor making the separate kitchen and dining room into one space. This also meant creating a new internal door way and blocking up the bottom half of a large floor to ceiling window and an existing external side door. Roger took down the separating wall, inserted a steel beam and made good all area's ready for a new kitchen. We were really happy with Rogers work, he was really easy to deal with, friendly, arrived when he said he would and most importantly for us showed he was a professional in his trade by giving advice, especially on things we hadn't even considered. The finished job was great and better than we had hoped. We would have no hesitation in recommending Roger and will be asking him back soon to start some further work for us.

Carpentry- 21 Jan 2025
I did not write a review at the time even though I was not happy with the work carried out. The work was finished while we were on holiday so I was sent photos of the completed porch canopy by Reza who carried out the work, which looked OK. When we returned home I could see that flimsy wood had been used and the peak of the porch had approximately 4 inches of cement between slates and apex. I am writing a review now because this morning slates fell from the canopy and on trying to put these back find they have been put on the reverse side up making it hard to replace.

Guttering- 25 Feb 2024
This guy really mucked me around. I wanted to get five gutters cleaned at different properties. Went to a a lot of trouble to organise with tenants calling in various favours. He then decided he didn't feel like coming on Saturday so again I went to a lot of trouble and got it all booked in fro Sunday. A "no show" today and not even the courage to call me just to double check. "INTEGRITY" is not this middle man's name and I now have to go cap in hand to explain why I can't competently handle what should have been a simple and straightforward matter. I never want to have dealings with this man again and if were you, I wouldn't either. Completely unreliable.

Windows & Doors (uPVC & Metal)- 14 Sep 2024
We were happy before it rained and we thoroughly checked their work. They left mess, razor sharp edges on the glass, and glass overhanging neighbours land a little bit. We asked them to return to remedy this which they said they would do this coming Tuesday. Since then we have also noticed that they have cut our glass too short, cut the new hardwood at too steep an angle which was bodged in with wood filler, and now it's rained this new roof has massively leaked. In places where the glass is cut too short and even along the length of one of the new wooden beams; must be missing a bit of silicone. It is now Saturday and we have called them 2 days ago on Thursday, yesterday Friday we called and texted, and today again we both texted and one of us called them, to check if they are still coming on Tuesday or not. 3 days is not unreasonable to return a call or text just to confirm either way. More rain is due between now and then, concerned about lack of communication and quality of work.

I recently had decking installed by Dean, he was quick to reply to the job in the first instance, then prompt in calling and arriving to measure up, quote arrived, and in just over a week later my decking had been completed. We are very happy, great job done. He even fixed my dodgy back gate on his way out 👍 Highly recommend Dean and I'll almost certainly use him again Clare G

E C Maintenance gave the best quote and were very professional. They completed the job on time, did extras such as travelling to Oldham to pick up a unit, didn't really charge anything at all for the extras. They were as clean as they could be, kept me informed and were happy to answer any questions I had. I'd hire them again.

Extensions- 3 Jan 2024
Quoted us 85k for a 14 week job for a 1 storey extension. We have extra work done sure but this has been inflated. He's had over 105k from us, now at 34 weeks. Asking for 4k more. Didn't sort building reg certificate I had to. Didn't pay tradesmen work for months, went on holiday 3 times during (Jamaica, Egypt and God knows where). Won't confirm who the warranty lies with. Paid him £3k extra for a patio base which was done as a bodge job, ended up having to rip it up and got it done by someone else for 1k. He used waterproof membrane which created a swamp. Got lots of photographs of the promised 10cm hardcore being 1cm. Do not trust, contact me and I will show you all you need to avoid him. Moving towards court...
