A nightmare! They were employed to do all the work i.e. plastering, boarding, knocking out one wall, fitting bathroom suite, kitchen, re-wire, plumbing central heating etc. Glenn was supposed to project manage, which he didn't. Plasterer made a terrible mess on my floorboards throughout; he left plaster all over the picture rails & skirting boards & finish around the edges was horrendous. In bathroom plastered over window frame. Plumbing - done by an apprentice and was not checked, so we had to call them back numerous times. He worked in phases and after each phase he asked for payment. When we were not happy he made us feel that we were making a fuss and we paid up because he promised that anything we were not happy with would be corrected at the end. We had supporting beams put under the lounge to support the floor, of which were not done by a builder; hence they were not supporting anything, so had to call them back and even then the job was done by an all-rounder and not a builder. I could go on and on as we had a long list in the end but had to give up after so many times of them coming back as their standard of work was not professional. The only thing in his favour was that they came back to correct several things when asked but the standard was poor. I would advise not to employ anyone until you have seen the standard of work and don’t assume that if the feedback is good on small jobs that they are capable of doing the big jobs.

Booked work with Shane but after waiting a few weeks for the agreed day of work he cancelled night before due to a family issue. Rebooked for a week later and then cancelled again. I fully understand family comes first.

Andy and his team did a good job replacing our bathroom and cloakroom. The job overran due to a couple of logistical problems with different tradesmen, but Andy did his best to minimise the disruption. Good communication and accurate quote, which was stuck to. Overall, we're happy with the outcome.

We needed a small, 5m x 3m extension to the rear of our house to give us more living space on the ground floor. We live in a curved building so this wasn't a straightforward build and we had builders not willing to quote as they couldn't build on a curve. We had several quotes but found Joe's to be very competitive but he also gave us a very detailed breakdown of what would happen and at a what stage and timeframe. Joe delivered on everything. There were a few minor hiccups along the way as you would expect with any build, but everything was dealt with as a priority and nothing was too much trouble. We are more than satisfied with the end result and would highly recommend Joe and his team for any work, big or small, if fact, we have booked him again for some more work later on this year.

Jeeta and the team (Prem, Amrit, Jonny and Karan and others) have been absolutely fantastic throughout. I met Jeeta after posting my job on here after we had a terrible experience with our previous chosen builder. Jeeta and the team started at the end of January and have basically gutted out the whole house, re-wired it, plastered and built a front extension, 2 storey rear extension as well as fit 2 bathrooms, utility and a kitchen. Jeeta is amazing to deal with. He is honest and hardworking as is his team. He also has contacts with every type of supplier and will work for you to negotiate prices and timelines. I couldn’t have asked for a better builder. I had my reservations at first with one bad review he received but he explained what had happened and showed me proof. Importantly, we met other customers who had used him and who gave glowing reviews and showed us the work he had done. Jeeta and his team are very experienced. He and his team have built the house of our dreams.

Very pleased with the job. Daniel and team did exactly what I wanted by rebuilding very damaged garden wall using original bricks that all had to be cleaned. They were polite, hardworking and professional throughout, leaving the site clean and tidy when finished. A few coping stones short so Daniel has offered to look out for more and then return to complete. Will use him in future and happy to recommend to others.

Scott abandoned the work in the middle of winter after collecting several thousands of £££ in advance without completing or making safe (see attached photos). Due to poor quality of even the seemingly completed works (e.g inappropriate roof pitch/tiles/truss, improperly installed doors/windows & rising damp on internal plaster boards) the work was rejected by building control and I've had to pay another contractor again to remediate. Scott started the work on 15 Sept 2025 but abandoned site at the end of Feb 2026 with doors/windows/radiators only partially installed. Scott had originally committed to a 12 week build for completion before Christmas 2025 but the work dragged till end of Feb 2026 when the work was eventually abandoned. I have decided to take the matter to court after several unsuccessful attempts to get Scott back to finish the work or refund the cost of repairing / completing his work which is about £20k in addition to the roughly £70k I have already paid Scott.

I was really impressed with their ability to adapt when confronted with a few problems & their communication with us as plans had to differ slightly was excellent. I give 1 star for their unprofessional roof inspection service. We fully confirmed the 10:00–11:30 site visit days ago and exchanged the full property address with mutual consent. Without advance warning, they sent an unexpected reconfirmation message at 6:57 on the appointment morning. My phone did not pop up instant alerts for this early text, so I only read it after driving 1.5 hours to wait at the house punctually as arranged. I waited on site for ages, yet no staff turned up. I made several phone calls to ask for their arrival time, but nobody picked up my calls. It is entirely unreasonable to double-check a fully locked-in booking at the last minute, ignore customer calls and leave clients stranded after a long drive. Their messy schedule management wasted my whole morning and travel hours, with no respect for customers’ pre-planned trips. I will never recommend this firm, as they cannot keep confirmed appointments and disregard phone enquiries from clients.

Thanks to the team we are set to have a fantastic summer in our new garden room and freshly laid lawn! Jack listened carefully to all our ideas and gave us a really competitive price. He took the time to create a bespoke layout, knowing all it would take extra effort, just to ensure it perfectly suits our needs. The quality of the finished build is top tier! Throughout the project, Jack proved to be a honest, trustworthy, and incredibly knowledgeable guy. His attention to detail and craftsmanship are second to none. He also patiently answered all our questions in detail. Like many big building projects, we hit some minor snags (roof drainage issues and a few delays). But to his absolute credit, he took full responsibility, came straight back to carry out the remedial work, actively suggested solutions to sort everything out. While scheduling can be busy in peak season, his commitment to doing the job right was what mattered most. We’re so satisfied and wish the team every success!

Nice enough people to work with but the driveway hasn’t stood the test of time. A rather rough surface began breaking up a few months after completion and they agreed to come back and add a further top coat of Tarmac. After multiple broken promises, I asked for a firm date - since which all is silence. Not recommended

Younger brother Anti was a professional and I would hire again but beware of the elder sibling as his workmanship his poor, here is a list:- 1) the cupboard fitted under the stairs was misaligned and the hinges are loose. Paint job was poorly finished too. 2) cupboard fitted across the boiler was all bent. Anti came and fixed it. 3) varnish across door and skirting boards were done once and therefore have an uneven spread 4) the floorboards did not have enough glue placed in certain areas so it creaks 5) grout in some time are missing 6) really poor sealant work on the bathroom 7) broke my £2000 TV and then hid the evidence. I only found out after placing the furniture back in its place. In contrast Anti did a good job in fitting the radiator. If you can Illicit promises of Anti only completing the job without the older the brother then go for it or else give them a wide berth.

Paul is an experienced tradesman and I am lucky to hire him to do tiling and painting in my kitchen. He is trustworthy and his finishing is excellent. He delivered with in time and my budget. He went extra mile to provide with my limited resource and did not demand more and more material. He is very clear in his idea about how to complete the work with in given material. I will keep his details safe for future work because it is difficult to find such skilled tradesman who is trustworthy, enthusiastic, committed and willing to deliver the best.
