Richie stripped out my old kitchen and put a new one in his workmanship was totally first class, I am so pleased with the finished kitchen, in fact I want my bathroom done next year, I did cause Richie a bit of a problem after the kitchen fit I decided I wished I had had an integrated freezer, he came back and did this for me, I cant praise him anymore than to say he is first class at what he does, don't hesitate or worry about his work a top class workman and a very helpful and nice person so once again thank you Richie Sault

Job meant to take 8 days on doing wooden window repairs on 4 houses. We are now 3 months later and job is not complete and they will not respond to communications. 2 houses completed, but not the other 2. They said 50% money when half way then 100% at end but kept badgering for money. Thankfully only paid 75%. But will be trying to get some money returned as 1 house needs repairs to windows already!!! So 10 year guarantee worthless. Very upset as we liked Damien on the initial meet up. But he uses different gangs of workers and they wouldnt show up or only 1 guy and his girlfriend would turn up. Didn't want to leave bad reviews but they have left us no choice

Gjon and his son Julian did an amazing job tiling our kitchen floor. They were prompt in communications and completed the job within the agreed time. Left the job clean and tidy after themselves. Will probably hire them again to install a splashback later on in the project.

I have had a few different jobs done by Carl now. He has done plastering, hanging doors, fitting architraves and skirting boards and even fixing some roof slates. I am so happy with all his work and he is a really friendly guy who left the house as clean as when he arrived. I recommended him to my father, for whom he built a new step to his front door, a lower one as he is getting old, and I would recommend Carl to anyone else too. I can't speak highly enough of him, we talked through all my ideas and he was really helpful with sourcing the right materials too.

We were happy before it rained and we thoroughly checked their work. They left mess, razor sharp edges on the glass, and glass overhanging neighbours land a little bit. We asked them to return to remedy this which they said they would do this coming Tuesday. Since then we have also noticed that they have cut our glass too short, cut the new hardwood at too steep an angle which was bodged in with wood filler, and now it's rained this new roof has massively leaked. In places where the glass is cut too short and even along the length of one of the new wooden beams; must be missing a bit of silicone. It is now Saturday and we have called them 2 days ago on Thursday, yesterday Friday we called and texted, and today again we both texted and one of us called them, to check if they are still coming on Tuesday or not. 3 days is not unreasonable to return a call or text just to confirm either way. More rain is due between now and then, concerned about lack of communication and quality of work.

Adam did an excellent building job, both brick work and carpentry, at the end he cleaned up and removed all the debris. What happened Adam started on Tuesday 16th August and expected to complete the work in 1 day, but he had to return the following day. Wednesday he worked till mid-day, leaving to work on another job. Thursday he didn't turn up, same on Friday. Eventually I managed to make contact with him and he said I will be there on Saturday. So on the Saturday we expected him at 8 to 8.30am. I rang him at around 9.00am to say where are you, he explained he had been working on another urgent job, but he would be with us around 9.30am. He arrived and by 11.30am the job was finished. We have a small well in our back garden, the roof had collapsed, it needed a large piece of plywood with tiles on the top. Adam said I will bring you a piece of plywood at no charge, either tonight or during Sunday, we felt very happy about the whole proceeding. Of course over the weekend no Adam arrived no plywood nothing, no email, or answer to my phone call. So finally on Tuesday we went out and purchased a large piece of plywood. So there you have it a very good workman, but keeping his promises needs to be considerably improved.

We agreed a start date for the work, and from the beginning communication was slow and required constant chasing. Alan sent me a full materials list, which I purchased on the understanding that the job was proceeding. As the start date approached, I repeatedly tried to confirm when he would arrive so I could organise my day and be available to help on site, as we agreed for me to b involved as a labour. Despite reading my messages, he stopped responding entirely. I sent multiple messages and tried calling several times over the course of a week and received no reply at all. The job never started, and I was left with purchased materials and a significant amount of wasted time. I cannot comment on the quality of his work as he never turned up, but based on the communication alone I would strongly advise others to be cautious.

A very personable guy, easy to talk to, generous with advice and ideas, nothing too much trouble. Friendly, honest and reliable, very high quality work, we are delighted with the result and wouldn't hesitate to use Lynnrose again, or to recommend Mick and Adam to friends. He introduced each member of his team to us so we knew who was working on site, and was happy to show us how to do some tasks so we could trim costs a little. Keeps his language clean, which was important to me as my young children were keen to watch what he was doing! And he has dealt quickly with the couple of small snagging issues which have arisen since the finish of the build, definitely no disappearing act here :)
