We cannot speak highly enough of Wayne and his team. Wayne took on our kitchen & utility extension over the summer of 2018, and from the very first engagement with him, he was professional, truthful, realistic and a delight to work with. With us having to move out for 2 months, Wayne was super considerate and stuck to his plan so well for which we were so grateful. All of our neighbours have commented on how tidy and respectful him and his team were, which was also very important to us. Wayne took us to first-fix and the quality and finish is up to the highest standard. The problem we now have is that we are not going to want to use anyone else in the future. Building of an extension involving carpentry, door hanging and furniture (handles, locks, etc), skirting, plaster boarding, flooring. He also fitted my sliding wardrobes from scratch - cut all the MDF for the shelfs, doors and walls. Plamen is very reliable, professional, tidy, precise and has an eye for detail. Lewis was very prompt to come and quote for the works we needed and is also a genuine chap. He was more costly than other quotes we received but being more local and more accommodating to our time frame we decided to go with LRL. The job was carried out on the date agreed and I was informed of timings etc regularly. The guys were done digging off on the Saturday and Lewis allowed us to hold back some of the payment to ensure the grab lorry arrived on the Monday. I wouldn’t say that the finished result is the ‘bowls green’ level finish I was assured I’d receive when Lewis submitted his price, in fact far from it, and have since had to have other tradesmen in to get the finish I thought I was getting with Lewis. However the works went smoothly and in the timeframe I was told so overall a neutral experience

Rowan was one of the first to respond when I posted my job so we arranged a visit . He is a very pleasant , likeable person . He talked us through the process and explained what would happen at every stage of the project . Although Rowan doesn't live close to us , he made himself available for support and guidance from the start and I knew I could call him with any questions or concerns I had and I did this a few times . Rowan has been in the industry for many years so not only has extensive experience , but he has extensive knowledge of the trade , materials , products and building regulations . Importantly , Rowan is very honest and transparent about the cost of individual products as well as the actual build and if he isn't able to answer a question , he will not give false information but he will again , be honest and tell you he will do his best to find out and get back to you . Ultimately , I would not hesitate to recommend Rowan if you are looking to engage the services of a very professional , experienced and knowledgeable builder who takes pride in his work and will complete your build to an extremely high standard .
