We highly recommend Mario & his team. They fitted a new kitchen & bathroom to a really high standard within a short, timeframe. They work hard, are friendly, professional & honest, my neighbour even commented on how considerate they were! Upon first meeting Mario we were impressed by how organised he was. He arrived on time with the description we’d posted on my builder & went through it methodically. We had A LOT of questions! He answered all of them & didn’t rush us. We received a competitive quote within a day as promised. It included everything we discussed & he quickly answered our follow up questions. We wanted an accurate idea of the cost of electrical work & Mario arranged for his electrician to come & inspect/quote before we’d appointed Mario the job. Our kitchen & bathroom is complicated, with lots of difficult angles. Damp, unlevel floor, unlevel windows, a low ceiling were uncovered in the bathroom. Mario did well to identify solutions, giving us expert advice. Pipes were neatly chased into the wall. Underfloor heating & LVT, tiling, grouting & painting all done to a very professional finish. He kept us informed of progress, checked our preferences & was patient when we had supply delays, finding ways to ensure the job finished on time enabling us to move from our temporary accommodation back home in time for Christmas. He promptly fixed some minor issues after the job finished. We highly recommend Mario & would use him again.

Quotes were provided and the job was agreed upon. The project involved a full house restructuring and extension build. However, after several stages of work, communication with Jas was lost, and his co-worker took the lead on site. Several issues arose, such as recommending smart plumbing equipment for purchase, but their plumbers were unable to install it. The tiling, skirtings, and tiles were not completed. Tiles around the columns were cracked. After Jas's team abandoned the project, another plumber had to install all the remaining items. The job was left unfinished, and we had to find alternative contractors to complete it. Significant time and money were wasted due to persistent communication problems, failure to issue invoices, and numerous other issues. Eventually, Jas and his main labourer stopped responding and disappeared, ignoring phone calls and WhatsApp messages. Be aware of these potential issues.

We did a lot of research ahead of our loft build, and spoke to customers of the companies we looked at. We were impressed with Toma and her team from the outset, especially in terms of clarity and communication. We sat down with the project team at the start and walked through the week-by-week plan for our build, then a whatsapp group and weekly meets meant we knew exactly what was happening throughout. Our endless questions were responded to swiftly. Additional optional trade-ups (eg top-hung windows, larger bathroom window etc) were discussed and explained with context, sound advice (and clear pricing where nec) but always still optional. Toma's communication with the teams also seemed strong and continuous, with materials always arriving in time and ahead of when needed, no down-days etc - and importantly, the teams all seemed happy and were just lovely people to have around. I realise with hindsight too that the team's care and workmanship really put them a cut above many others in my area and the project remained on schedule. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend ICS for the whole package and in fact we've also chosen to use them again for a kitchen extension.

I did my due diligence on Vullcan, but things went downhill. After a week i got a pre-tax invoice for £3000 for a more "complex" drainage system which was already completed, this was the start of them trying to get around contract items and look for every way possible to charge extra fees which i can’t go through in the word limit here. When that dint work they refused to do the work. e.g. they literally installed a tempered glass sheet, with liquid glue on my roof and stated to me that this was a "roof window". I had to show them buildings regulations that this was unacceptable and illegal especially when our contract said it has to be a VELUX ROOF WINDOW! Promised a 6-8 week completion, this is 9 months later. I had now paid about 90% of the original bill and 100% of additional costs. The final payment was due after completion and a 2 week snagging period. But the demand for payments started, with threats to sue. This was laughable as they hadn't completed the job. •The roof was leaking •Electrical issues with the fuse box and multiple light /electrical points •Outstanding items •The buildings controls company stated they would not be able to sign off on the building work because of outstanding issues, which I wouldn’t have even known as they lied stating they HAD the certificate. I agreed to send a FULL payment to an escrow company and pay HALF of the costs so they can complete and fix safety issues but they refused! Shameful experience.

Tom is a very competent builder, who has attention to details. Tom continuously went out of his way to find ways to meet my requirements, Whenever we had atypical challenge during my extension Tom's default position was "let's find a work around." He was creative and efficient in doing so, and most importantly cost effective, as I was running on tight budget. Fantastic experience working with Tom, he estimated the work to complete in 6 weeks, the work was done 5 and a half weeks and handed over. The works speaks of itself, very urban finish with high level of professionalism. I was almost hands off the project due to work travel, and Tom took care of all the aspects without me being involved day to day and micro manage. He is surely being to be big league builder in no time. I would recommend him whole heartedly.

Neno is a very warm-hearted and genuine person. He gives his 100% to the job. He is also very prompt when it comes to communication and is always available by phone/text/email. He has a vast experience and good technical know-how and produced excellent plans and drawings. His quotes were very reasonable and offer excellent value for your hard earned money. Having been his client, I am genuinely inclined to believe he is a person who would never "rip off" his clients. He is a man of his word and does what he says. However, Neno's honesty and confidence can be a bit blunt at times. He can be quite “direct” with his opinions and this may rub off some people the wrong way, e.g. your local Council Planning officer may be an a**hole, but if you "confront" him, he will definitely not make things any easier for you- nevertheless, Neno dealt with all the Council red tape and followed up the Planning Permission Application to its conclusion. We finally got permission for extending the property much less than what we had expected initially- apparently our local Council (Hillingdon) has its own set of Draconian conservative rules that we were unaware of- but we have postponed the actual project work due to a recent change in personal circumstances. Summary: Based on my personal experience, I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Neno as a bona fide Tradesman on MyBuilder.com.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 15 Feb 2016
Pawel and his team modernised our two bedroom house from top to bottom. They installed central heating in every room, they removed our old warm air heating, made an open plan for the kitchen and living room area, installed new bathroom and kitchen units and did the tiling too, they updated our electrics and sockets and also plastered and painted the walls and fitted our wooden flooring for downstairs. The job was completed within 12 weeks. We were very happy with the modernisation, our home looks completely different and has a new modern fresh feel.
