We have received fantastic after sales service from GoldBerg Engineering throughout the project and would not have had the results we have, without Zilvinas. Goldberg Engineering has provided brilliant guidance throughout, through rapid response emailing, regular Skype and several site visits. Johnny was very nice to deal with. When there were problems they were quick to find ways to rectify them. They started at short notice& finished on time which I was very impressive. We got a no. of quotes,Johnny was middle of the range but with a better level of service than others. Johnny was very open about when things might cost more &gave us the option if we wanted to proceed. A few things to note: -this was our 1st experience of any building work &we should have remembered they are builders, not designers -we both work long hours &so most days didn't see the team to get an update or brief them. This meant a few things were missed or miscommunicated - while most of the team were lovely the electrician used was horrible to deal with. He got very cross about requested changes, didn't deliver everything requested &just did silly things like putting in a light switch with 2buttons where there was only one Light or hanging lights incredibly low when we had given measurements of where we wanted them - we got Johnny's team to build some extra storage for us which on the whole was fine but some things weren't centred or for example the wine rack they built was wonky Overall, it was a good experience and we would recommend them but would suggest be home to oversee the work more than once a week (must be true of any building work!) and get your own electrician. Very happy to talk to people and give references-the house looks great now.

External Painting & Repairs and redecorating hall,stairs and landing. Very pleased with the work Max and his team carried out. Commenced the work as agreed, good time keeping, very polite and kept me informed regarding progress. Completed on time. Also very clean and tidy workers taking time to cover all areas with plastic sheets, cleaned windows on completion. I would have no problem recommending Max and his team and would employ them again.

We had a terrible experience with VRS Building (Rimantas). After months of negotiating our renovation project & a verbal agreement VRS pulled out at the 11th hour. Rimantas's at VRS took a bigger job and contacted us by email and said "It's nothing personal, It's just business.' They have no loyalty to their clients.

Chris was quick to respond to my post and attended only a couple of days later to quote. The quote was very reasonable and I chose him for the job, based on his competitive quote, his evidenced standard of work and general personality. Chris has kept true to his word throughout the works needed (new door frames, all skirting boards - porch and living room, new floor in porch and new front door). He has unbelievable pride in his own workmanship and is incredibly trustworthy & reliable. I live in a very old property, that doesn't have a straight wall/floor in it - Chris' knowledge shone through with dealing with what may seem small to those of us untrained - he used all his 'tricks' to ensure everything was fully secure and gap free, everywhere (including his personal pride). I was able to have very honest conversations throughout, regarding the work and also additional costs to the quote (n.b. this was not significantly more, but absolutely reasonable due to additional materials) and his expectations were never unrealistic or beyond my budget, nor the conversations difficult or confrontational. I genuinely can't praise or sing Chris enough. His quality of workmanship, personal pride and outstanding personable style is a breath of fresh air. My final comment would be is that he is to be fully trusted, both professionally & personally and he will deliver you an outstanding job, whilst keeping you informed throughout, in an honest and open style. I'll recommend 100%
