I started work at the age of working for my dad as labourer as I progressed as a labourer in my free time started learning bricklaying and went on to full time brick layer all ways pushing to learn as much as possible. As I progressed I wanted to learn more trades and went on to learn carpentry to push my knowledge further to help me be come a better trades man . I done a 5 day intense course to learn plastering and dryline to help push my self as person and as a builder . We take high pride in listing to give are clients what they would like and tousle there dream project come true . We take pride in peoples homes and all leave a clean and safe house when doing small or large projects to know customers safety is garenteed

I cannot recommend Jake highly enough, the best experience I've had with a builder, ever. I'd given up hope that builders like him existed. Came on time, quoted on time, in detail, twice as the spec developed, which was for a wide range of internal and external work including a garage to studio/home office conversion, new bathrooms, rendering and plastering, roofing including roof lights, flooring and earthworks. Once contracted, he and his team turned up when he said they would, he was always responsive, and solutions-oriented when unexpected issues arose, as they always do. He had good attention to detail, was neat and tidy, nothing was too much effort, and he was always pleasant and open to ideas and changes. He was fully detailed and transparent in his pricing, and hands on to ensure the job got done on time - a great work ethic that is so hard to find. His business deserves to flourish, and he's definitely the only person I'll use for future work.

TCB took on a large extension / remodelling for me, starting in autumn and going through the winter. Despite the bad time of year, the project was completed on time, in budget and with a high-quality finish (plenty of neighbours have commented on the quality, speed and friendliness of the team). Trustworthy, very accommodating when things didn’t go to plan and kept me updated with progress while I was working away. Would want to use again and can highly recommend.

Overall I am pleased with how the fence looks, the materials look good. Although Mr Little visited the property to give a quote for the works he decided the quote was too low & needed to add a sum of almost £700 extra. This shows unprofessionalism. The work ethic was some of the most bizarre I have ever seen, over 4 days the gentleman from LO Property arrived at different times, getting later throughout the week.They stood around looking at their mobiles much more than I would have liked. The 1st day only 3 concrete posts were removed, I understand much cannot be done on the first day due to deliveries and such but there were 2 of them. There was plenty of work to be getting on with, it felt very unorganised. The 2nd day, half of the concrete post fence was put up, that is much more like the level of work I would come to expect, however this did not last long as on the 3rd day it was yet another doss day. The final day was a complete rush, the job was finished but it was obvious it was rushed. A lot of rubbish was left; a few small tools were left. I wanted to mention the 2 gentlemen that did most of the labour were very polite and professional. Unfortunately I can't say the same for Mr Little, I was not kept updated with the works and the plan of action of each day. He avoided eye contact with me when I did talk with him, when I saw him in the garden mostly he was on his mobile. I just got the feeling he didn't need this job & didn’t want to do it.

The work included: knocking out part of a wall and creating a new ‘alcove’ area to enlarge one room, removing a door and making good the wall, re-plastering of ceilings and walls, laying new flooring, various electrical works and installation of a new radiator, plus numerous other little bits and pieces. Tony gave me good advice at the planning stage about the various jobs I wanted doing which ended up saving me considerable, unnecessary expense. The price was a fair one and came in on budget. Tony kept me fully informed at all stages. Tony’s team were friendly and helpful. The final result is lovely and well finished. For balance, the only negative was that the job did over run by a few days; however I must add that Tony and his team did their very best to catch up including working weekend days at no extra cost to me. I would not hesitate to use Tony’s services again, and, in fact, fully intend to.
