Man Ho or Calvin Ho' or Man Fu Ho, who owns Carve Engineering Co. Ltd. He also has a Hong Kong branch carve-eng.com . I didn't know he subcontracted the whole project to a group of Chinese mainlanders who couldn't speak English. And he asked a British Gas gas engineer to sign off the plumbing work. I obtained the planning in December 2021. The work started on 31/1/2022 and almost finished now 19/9/2022. It supposed to end in three months time as they promised. It's only a single storey side extension and shouldn't be left unfinished with pipes broke. The workers only came to work once a week and sometimes the work stopped for a month or so. The price included the purchase of a boiler and installation. But there's no timer or thermostat and I was asked to purchase these and install them with extra cost. The workers' van broke down five times and they didn't turn up for five different days. There's no windowsill and they called this a standard window people would install. The exterior wall was painted inconsistent to our original wall and I had to argue to get them pebbledash and repainted. They left the fences on our neighbours. The pipes are still leaking. Shower leaked for 3 months. They even charged extra for the electricity sockets they installed in our kitchen. They took down the mains water supply switch and never install it back so our house has no in house mains water stop valve! They didn't hoover and didn't have a hoover. Avoid this company!

I cannot recommend Rob and his 2 sons highly enough, they have done an excellent job completing the brickwork for our large outbuilding in good time and at a reasonable price. 3 genuinely nice blokes who are hard working and thorough, we wouldn't hesitate to use them again and have already referred for work elsewhere.

My Mum is soo pleased with the completed job, Tommy has made good of a previous bad job by somebody that I hired off of this site. He was polite, quick to respond and due to the weather he wouldn’t start the job as it would’ve be in vain. I was planning an extension to my kitchen, which included a complete refurbishment and the addition of a shower room. I also needed somebody to coordinate all aspects of the project, including recruiting the right resources for the building work, electrics etc. I was extremely pleased that Bull & Chisel were recommended to me. From the start, Bryan and Warren gave me the confidence that they were able to complete the project to my satisfaction. They were happy to continue working with me throughout and they liaised effectively with partners they brought in at key stages to ensure that each task was completed to my satisfaction. As for their own work, I cannot fault them. There are always unexpected challenges that arise in these types of project. Bryan & Warren consider these very carefully before providing a solution. They pay close attention to detail and that has resulted for me in a super new space. I highly recommend Bull & Chisel and have already asked them to sign up for more projects in the near future!
