Brad and his colleague Ben were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Knowledgeable, clearly very experienced, kind, accommodating, tidy and courteous. I had a problem with the installation of my wood flooring, because upon removal of previous floor and plastic underlay sheet there was found to be significant damp present, which needed treatment before the new engineered oak could be installed. They could not have been more accommodating with giving me advice and time to get the problem addressed, before somehow still managing to fit me in at late notice before Christmas, so that I had my new floor installed for the festive season 😊 Am over the moon with how it looks, everything has been executed to the highest standard, including managing to remove old skirting intact so that it could be refitted. Literally could not be happier with the end result and could not recommend more highly! Will not be employing anyone else for any carpentry or floor laying jobs 😊🙏🤩

Nick was extremely helpful in checking that the doors we favoured would be suitable for our application, ensuring that all sizes were correct and attending to be certain that the doors were correct on delivery. I have been in the building trade for 30 years, doing all aspects of building solving any problems that may arise. I have built extensions, loft conversions. Fitted kitchens and bathrooms. Plus other smaller tasks such as gutters and fascia boards, roofing, tiling, flooring, painting work and decoration. Anything related to building except electrical work but I have an electrician and plumber who I can call in if necessary. Because I can put my hand to most trades I can complete the task in hand from start to finish, therefore not leaving until the job is completed. I am not vat registered so my estimate will hopefully be competitive.

Ben worked on a single storey extension at our property between August 2023 and January 2024. Despite several complications, including access issues for machinery due to the location of our property, nothing seemed to phase Ben and he always found a way to make things happen, where other builders had been put off. He kept us regularly updated with weekly progress reports, setting out what work had been completed and the schedule for the coming days and weeks, which we found really helpful. Having never had any building work done everything was new to us but Ben instantly put at as ease and we knew we were in safe hands! Ben also explained any changes he needed to make and was happy to talk through the different options available, always explaining things clearly so we could understand. Payments were also clearly set out so we knew what we were being charged for and when. Ben and his team were a pleasure to work with. They were always polite and courteous and very tidy, making sure the site was cleaned up and left clear of safety hazards at the end of each day. In terms of communication, Ben was always very quick to answer messages and come back with the answer to any queries we had. The team arrived punctually on site each day and we were always updated if there were any changes to their working pattern. Ben was also very considerate to our neighbours when he needed access to their garden in order to complete the work. Our extension was completed to a very high standard and we are extremely happy with it. I would not hesitate to recommend Ben and the CRD team to anyone undertaking a building project.
