Adam Favor and NOVA Design & Build are a nice bunch of guys and they are reliable/helpful. However, when it came to coving, architrave and flooring, acceptable standards were unfortunately not met. Other specialists had to be brought in to re-do around 20% of the job; namely certain sections of the cornice and door architrave. In the former, a few things were below standard including: 1) not joining the friezes in the correct places, 2) cutting inaccurately, 3) leaving gaps, 4) using silicon as a filler and adhesive. For the door architrave, the wood was misaligned and not glued/nailed properly. The flooring was not laid well because there are huge gaps at times; sometimes at 1 cm. Since the kitchen has been installed, it is too late to take up the floorboards again. The most dubious thing of all in this job was the quote received for decorating which was c. 15k for 47 m2. This included plastering repairs, but ultimately the job got done by someone else to a high standard at 7k.

I had installpro put an extension on my kitchen by knocking a lean-to and extending into that space, also completed insulation and roofing on the new extension and existing roof, this involved building new external walls, damp course membranes, plastering, new cast iron radiators were plumbed in, new electrical circuits and sockets, tiling, skirting, painting, new sash window fitted, new guttering and fascia and even a fitted kitchen bench was made from scaffold boards, which came out really nice. Marek was very professional and everything was done in a timely manner, no waiting around once things were agreed on. Always early every morning and working full days, even one of his team worked a Saturday to stay on the timeline. The quality of the work was very good, I was impressed with the roofing, proper insulation was used throughout, at the side of the roof behind the fascia too and new lead flashing was finished properly. The team that worked here were very clean, always using proper dust sheets and cleaning up at the end of each day. At the end of the job, final touch ups were made after consultation, to make sure I was happy with everything and then Marek saw that a proper cleanup happened and everything was completed on time and on budget as outlined at the beginning. I can recommend Installpro, and I will use them again for future work on my property.

We chose Gibbons and Sons for our Loft extension and new bathroom as they was one of the few firms who we contacted and was more then happy for us to view their workmanship during and after the build so we good see the quality of their works. They have been courteous, polite, very patient and accommodating to our chopping and changing of ideas. They helped us to bring our visions to life and offered advice when required without being pushy and driving a hard sale. They have been open and honest with our ideas and their recommendations and in some cases suggested a alternative more cost effective option. Leslie carried out the following works: chemical damp injection to walls on rear extension, reroute down-pipe, repair fracture on rear wall, install gutter hedgehog. Hopefully, this will resolve some of the issues we had with damp, a blocked down-pipe and an overflowing gutter. Leslie arrived on time on the first day but was delayed a few hours the next day. However, the work still was done within two days as expected. Thank you!

We hired Inside/Outside to re-do our bathroom. New sink, bath, toilet, tiles, lower ceiling, re-hang the door and move the radiator. They were polite, honest, professional and very hard working. When they came round to quote they were noticeably more thorough and showed more attention to detail than others. Their quotes were very competitive, their work was good and they removed all the rubbish as well. They also came back afterwards to check everything was working and to deal with a couple of 'snags'. We will be using them again.
