I hired Valentin for our job of removing an arch as well as widening a hatch and then re-plastering. I am so glad I did! He was a courteous and reliable worker. Very flexible with timings and honouring our requests. He was very neat and tidy too. His price were fair and he did a superb job to a high standard. I would hire him again for any job and I would happily recommend him to others.

We hired Manu and his team to plaster our summerhouse, relocate two radiators and fit a new bulkhead ceiling in the lounge and install LED tape. He was knowledgable, professional and considerate and I highly recommend Manu and his team. Not only did he understand the project for the bulkhead, but he came up with another suggestion which we went with, and friends and family agree looks amazing. The finish on the plasterwork is perfect and Manu and his team worked hard and even left the summerhouse cleaner than when they started! It is great to work with a team who pay such attention to detail, listen to the client and get the job done to a high standard. It was a risk to go with Manu as he didn't have any feedback when I hired him. I actually got him to quote so I could compare prices with someone else I had in mind to do the job, but when I met Manu I felt he would be the better person to do the job as he listened and understood exactly what I wanted and so I ended up hiring him instead. I wouldn't hesitate to hire him for any future jobs. Thank you Manu and team!

I did my due diligence on Vullcan, but things went downhill. After a week i got a pre-tax invoice for £3000 for a more "complex" drainage system which was already completed, this was the start of them trying to get around contract items and look for every way possible to charge extra fees which i can’t go through in the word limit here. When that dint work they refused to do the work. e.g. they literally installed a tempered glass sheet, with liquid glue on my roof and stated to me that this was a "roof window". I had to show them buildings regulations that this was unacceptable and illegal especially when our contract said it has to be a VELUX ROOF WINDOW! Promised a 6-8 week completion, this is 9 months later. I had now paid about 90% of the original bill and 100% of additional costs. The final payment was due after completion and a 2 week snagging period. But the demand for payments started, with threats to sue. This was laughable as they hadn't completed the job. •The roof was leaking •Electrical issues with the fuse box and multiple light /electrical points •Outstanding items •The buildings controls company stated they would not be able to sign off on the building work because of outstanding issues, which I wouldn’t have even known as they lied stating they HAD the certificate. I agreed to send a FULL payment to an escrow company and pay HALF of the costs so they can complete and fix safety issues but they refused! Shameful experience.

Initially apprehensive about using mybuilder, we found David easy going, clear and concise from the offset. The work carried out was to a high standard and any changes or questions that arose he was all to happy to answer. We found him to be pro-active in his approach, open and honest with how much items cost and sensible when agreeing monthly valuations. Both of us work in the construction industry and it is enjoyable and a breath of fresh air when you get to work with people as straight forward a David. Pawel and his team modernised our two bedroom house from top to bottom. They installed central heating in every room, they removed our old warm air heating, made an open plan for the kitchen and living room area, installed new bathroom and kitchen units and did the tiling too, they updated our electrics and sockets and also plastered and painted the walls and fitted our wooden flooring for downstairs. The job was completed within 12 weeks. We were very happy with the modernisation, our home looks completely different and has a new modern fresh feel. We will definately be using Pawel and his team for future jobs. Thanks again Khalima

Tom is a very competent builder, who has attention to details. Tom continuously went out of his way to find ways to meet my requirements, Whenever we had atypical challenge during my extension Tom's default position was "let's find a work around." He was creative and efficient in doing so, and most importantly cost effective, as I was running on tight budget. Fantastic experience working with Tom, he estimated the work to complete in 6 weeks, the work was done 5 and a half weeks and handed over. The works speaks of itself, very urban finish with high level of professionalism. I was almost hands off the project due to work travel, and Tom took care of all the aspects without me being involved day to day and micro manage. He is surely being to be big league builder in no time. I would recommend him whole heartedly.

We had a porch built by Emil & Peter's team & lead water pipe changed, our house has gone from the tattiest on the street to the smartest now :) The guys turned up on time when they said & worked hard all day, their workmanship is excellent & my neighbour has also used them to do quite a few jobs now& are really pleased with their work. Freddie, Kaz and Dan are a great team. I felt they were friendly and professional throughout. Any slight niggles were discussed and solutions found, quickly and professionally. They were respectful and went out of their way to get on with all the neighbours. Over all I would say they are a team of very nice people, who care about what they do and take pride in achieving the result their clients are after.
