Very pleased with work. Only a small area needed plastering but we needed it done quite quickly. K came around the next day to start and two days later to finish off. Area left very clean afterwards too. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Nathan, Daisy, and Dan renovated and redecorated the front of my neglected Edwardian detatched house. Nathan replied to all my posts on Mybuilder.com immediately. He visited the property at the agreed time, and gave a thorough and detailed analysis of extra problems I had not forseen. He emailed a very reasonable quote the same day. The team started work within a week after I accepted the quote. They worked unobtrusively, doing a thorough job, explaining at the end of each day what had been done, and explaining the next stage. I would recommend them.

We have had an excellent experience using Riverwoods, we brought a house not knowing the mess beneath the wallpaper, they came in and plastered all our walls and ceilings and the smoothness of the finish is next to none and we could not be happier. They are extremely trustworthy, give excellent communication which was so important to us going through a renovation. They ensured everything was cleared and clean at the end of the day. They’re very punctual and it is so clear he shows pride in all of his work and cares about the outcome and how you feel. As well as this he recommended work to the house we never even thought would be possible such as knocking through a wall to build us a wall in wardrobe and building up the other side, this was something we would never have been able to do without him. I would never hesitate to recommend riverwoods to anyone looking for a reliable and skilled worker who genuinely takes pride in his work and customers.

We hired Jamie to take out a window and install a door. He was very polite, gave a good quote and timescales etc. He understood exactly what we wanted, visited a few times before starting to ensure measurements were exact and that small details that we requested were agreed and clear. Before he started we asked him to quote for another job and he completed both within the timescales given, plus he was clear about what would happen on what day, and stuck to it. Nothing was too much trouble, he is very courteous, his workforce too. He's understanding, responsive to contact, and an excellent job done as well as being very clean and tidy. We are already looking to have him do the next works we need to get in the pipeline! We would not hesitate to recommend him.

Aaron and his team were very professional, punctual, poliet and respectful. The works they carried out on my front wall was immaculate, clearly highlighting their extraordinary skills, craftsmanship and attention to detail. However, what makes them exceptional and miles ahead of others is their kindness, patience, polietness and how professionaly and transparently they deal with you. They take time to listen to your requirements, your limitations and issues and try their level best to accomodate you and the work. They are upfront and transparent about the costs and time. If you are looking for exceptionally done work, no hassel, polite, well spoken, professional and truely transpaent and truthful people, I cannot recommend them enough.

L & H Building and Groundworks provided a concrete base for a garden office. The price was within budget and when the turned up, they were on time, the equipment they used was professional and clean and Jake was very courteous. The area was kept clean at all times and the front garden and decking was protected throughout the job, so all in all I found them a very professional company to work with and would recommend them to anyone who would require their services.

Didn't turn up …. Nothing against Alan at all … he was very friendly, discussed the works and came across like a good honest chap But … he came to view the works but would not commit to a price. I appreciate there are some unknowns but given he had visited the house for 45 minutes to see what was needed I would assume he would be able to quote a price. He talked about if's, buts and maybe's which I was happy to allow for but this did feel like he was pricing for the 'worst case scenario'. I sent a further note around the tasks and anticipated timings, which he was happy with but it was frustrating that I only found out he was not coming on the day he was due. He was a good guy but disappointed he didn't turn up to complete the work, which was pretty simple around repairing cupboards, replacing shower tray (and cubicle if needed), repairing skirting & floor board).. After he didn't arrive, I asked him if he wanted to complete the work but he has not yet replied....
