I did quite a bit of research before choosing Battersea Builders. They didn’t come in with the cheapest quote but I never base my choice on price alone. And it wasn’t miles above the other quotes I got. Instead, I chose them because they ticked a lot of boxes including a) good independent reviews, b) a dedicated PM, c) qualifications, d) quick responses, e) a decent website etc. Overall, they did a fantastic job. The quality of the work and finish is really good. The PM, Tommy, was really helpful throughout and the team was very polite and conscientious. They were also on site every day as promised and didn’t play that old builders trick of getting the job and then going offsite to secure another job elsewhere (resulting in the deadline being missed). Was it perfect? No, but then not many projects are. I have a few minor comments including the fact there was a misunderstanding about the quality of bathroom cupboard I needed so the original quote was insufficient and costs had to be increased half way through the project. Despite this issue, Tommy did his best to keep the extra costs down. One other niggle was that I asked them to keep all the manuals and instructions for all the fittings but they threw them out. Not a big deal but quite annoying. Overall, it wasn’t cheap but I would use them again because the work was done to a high standard and the team were a pleasure to work with.

We were absolutely delighted with Lino and his services. He was incredibly patient , as our flat purchase was delayed. We required a total gutting off our flat, with new kitchen and bathroom, new flooring, painting, and all the rest. He had great communication throughout. He showed up on time with his team each day , and was so professional throughout. We went to Lino for advice throughout the process. He never said any of our plans were not possible- he always either said yes, or provided another option. This was such a great help. I would recommend Lino to anyone. We are absolutely delighted with our flat.

He really took the time to make several recommendations and so I decided to go ahead with him to design my kitchen fully and fit it. Initially when using My Builder, I didn’t really have any intentions of working with tradesmen from here, it was more to benchmark and see where a quotation would be priced however upon meeting Vijay, that pretty much changed from the first meeting. If you’re looking for someone who treats your project like their own, he’s the man. Vijay takes 110% pride and care into every aspect of your project. Although work is yet to commence on my property, the spec Vijay has put together itself is worth a lot of money, and most would consider it invaluable. From my opinion so far, no stone will be left unturned where Vijay’s project management and work is concerned. Without thinking twice, I would highly recommend anyone considering Vijay, to at the very least, meet with him and show him the work required. From there on, your mind will be made up. Looking forward to working with him in due course

Giani and his colleague repaired our wall beautifully for a reasonable price. He talked us through the issues that caused the wall to fail and explained what needed doing. He started the job the next morning arriving promptly and then went about the job with care and pride. Leslie carried out the following works: chemical damp injection to walls on rear extension, reroute down-pipe, repair fracture on rear wall, install gutter hedgehog. Hopefully, this will resolve some of the issues we had with damp, a blocked down-pipe and an overflowing gutter. Leslie arrived on time on the first day but was delayed a few hours the next day. However, the work still was done within two days as expected. Thank you!

I recently had the pleasure of accepting Jagdeep on a substantial renovation project. Initially, I was a bit apprehensive as there were no existing reviews to gauge his work. However, after seeing some of his previous projects, I decided to take a leap of faith - and it turned out to be the best decision I've ever made. Jagdeep's approach to our project, which started merely as a rear extension and shower room, was nothing short of exceptional. J&G did a fantastic job of renovating my kitchen, including removing the old units, altering a chimney breast according to Planning Permission guidelines, plastering, painting, moving the radiator, laying a new floor, running new electrics and fitting new units and appliances from Wren. Jurgen is an excellent communicator, always taking the time to explain what was going on and answering questions. I particularly appreciated his honesty about the structural challenges of altering an Edwardian chimney breast, proposing alternative solutions which were cheaper and less disruptive. The quality of the finish was really good - from the electrician and plumber to plasterers and painters, all his team took great pride in their workmanship, and were all polite and friendly. Although the overall length of the project got extended, Jurgen made sure all the snagging was thoroughly completed. Overall, highly recommended and a pleasure to deal with. I'd definitely hire Jurgen again.

Shumon and his team did plastering, painting and decorating and they built me a fireplace and fitted in a fire. I would highly recommend him - he is absolutely brilliant and did a great job - they take a lot of pride in what they do, very trustworthy, and I am looking to have them back about Christmas time to do some bathroom work. They are very good value for money.

I recently had my bathroom completely renovated by Zsolt and Mario and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. They were professional, punctual, and incredibly skilled—nothing was too much trouble, and their attention to detail was second to none. One of the highlights of the project was the walk-in shower they installed, It’s beautifully tiled, and gives the bathroom a sleek, modern feel. They kept the workspace clean, communicated clearly throughout. Zsolt clearly take pride in their work, and it shows in the final result.
