We asked BLG to complete a different job to the one we advertised as weren't ready to start it. Instead they completed a 2 bedroom flat renovation, including ripping out and installation of kitchen, removing plasterboard walls, making good, painting and decorating and recarpeting/tiling. Their work and professionalism was great but even better was their attitude. They were always quick to find good solutions to problems, were extremely accomodating, informative, hard working and prices were very reasonable - at no point did I feel I was being ripped off or being treated like a mug, which after completing multiple renovations in the past am well aware of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Positively, certain aspects of the finishing, particularly tiling, were carried out to a good standard. However, the overall experience was mixed due to significant issues. There were notable challenges during the project involving basic logistics and site management, leading to considerable inconvenience that seemed avoidable. Furthermore, the quality of workmanship was inconsistent; while some parts were good, other areas involving fittings and fixtures showed a lack of attention to detail in the finish, requiring later adjustments. Communication during the process could also be difficult, particularly regarding problem-solving and planning for materials. While we appreciated the parts done well, the project was let down by these inconsistencies and process issues, leading to some ongoing snagging and disappointment.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Teimo and his team on a full renovation of a probate house, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The entire house needed a complete overhaul, including two new bathrooms, a kitchen extension, new doors, skirting, walls, plumbing, electrics, as well as front garden paving, a brick wall, and back garden fencing. The quality of the work is outstanding. Teimo and his team take immense pride in everything they do, and it really shows in the final product. They are not only highly skilled but also incredibly polite and tidy, ensuring the worksite remained clean throughout. They worked hard, from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM every day, and completed the project on time without any issues. What truly stands out about Teimo is his honesty and clear communication. Excellent work. Aaron and his team did a great job renovating our flat , including rewiring and laying a new wooden floor. The workmen were very good , professional, thorough ,clean and tidy. We had to live at the property during the work and they made sure they left us comfortable at the end of each day. We are very happy with the result. Aaron was very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to any queries. Ten out of ten guys! Highly recommended

I engaged Edi to work on a full renovation and refurbishment of a 4 bedroom detached house with front and back gardens on Blackheath’s Cator Estate. Edi did an extensive amount of work, including stripping out; plumbing; plastering; windows installation; carpentry; and decoration. In addition, after commencing the property work, once the scaffold had been erected, following sensible advice, Edi and his team replaced the roof and fully insulated the attic; fitted additional electric points; rebuilt the garden patio; and replaced the flooring throughout, in addition to other important jobs including re rendering and pointing of chimneys, building new wardrobes in the main bedrooms; and upgrading the radiators. A new kitchen, and two new bathrooms have been fitted. The kitchen redesign meant knocking through a wall with the lounge to create a larger space. Edi is a highly skilled craftsman, who thinks creatively as he works to make best use of the space, including shelf fittings, and additional lighting for example. He has built some beautiful wardrobes, and the internal decorations have brightened up what was previously a rather shabby looking house. In addition to the above, I wish to commend Edi for his professionalism, courtesy, and passion for doing the best work possible. On all the site visits I attended, and every time I spoke with him on the phone, it was striking how much he cared about the work that he was doing, his desire to ensure that the house would look the best. I always left site visits with the feeling that he cared so much about the house that he could be safely relied on to give the best advice to enable us to make the right decisions. I also noticed that Edi and his team would take the upmost care to keep the property safe, tidy and in good shape throughout the project. He can be fully trusted to look after any site he works on. He is intelligent and careful when it comes to safety and security. It has been a pleasure for Edi and his team to work with us over a period of around 6 months, and he did so much to reduce the stress of a significant project so that we could always rely on him to work methodically, patiently and sensibly, and to make best use of the resources available. His pleasantness shines through, and everyone I know who has spoken to him has always provided me with the most positive feedback I have no hesitation in recommending Edi to anyone who wishes to engage him for future projects, and is most deserving of the good words that I and others that work with him have to say about him.

Peter was the on-site foreman on our complete house renovation, which took just over a year. This included an additional ensuite pod bedroom in the roof and a side-return and extension to the kitchen. Peter was totally reliable throughout the project and thoroughly professional. Throughout this time we were living in the house with the children. He was always on time, managed the on-site team well and communicated clearly with us. His workmanship is high quality and he was also a stickler for checking the work of others and getting it updated if it wasn’t up to scratch. I have no hesitation in recommending Peter.

As per the previous reviewer I don't usually hire tradesmen when there is only limited feedback, but given the glowing report I took the risk. And it proved to be a great decision. Astrit was great - clear communication, arrived when he said he would, sought our opinions on the key decisions and gave some great advice, before ultimately doing a great job for a reasonable price.
