Steve and his team were an absolute asset at the start of the project. His attention to detail and numerous suggestions were very much appreciated. All of the work carried out was exceptional. Steve is personable and it has been a difficult for me to leave negative feedback. The standard of work I received in the latter stage of the project was mediocre at best. I know Steve is passionate about wanting to rectify all issues but is incapable of delivering. Certain issues I was happy to overlook such as him deciding to change my chosen kitchen without discussion with me, ordering grey radiator instead of black, ordering victorian style taps for bathroom when I had provided details of the modern taps I wanted and being told I owed an additional 10k because my previous payments had not been accounted for. In November 2015 I was told all extensive works would be complete in April 2016. Endless failed deadlines and poor communication has meant the work has not been completed in October 2016. Faulty electrical wiring, damp, missing carpentry, spilt paint on furniture and new flooring, miss matched plug sockets (originally put in wrong position) are just a few of the outstanding issues. Approx 6 deadlines have been given to rectify but there is no attempt to complete. I have spent 55k with Steve and have been left to resolve these issues at my own expense.

Top Tip - Engage Andy to do your work! We were delighted with the work Andy and his team completed on this new extension. Andy was on site throughout the build. His and his teams experience with this sort of work ensured that there was always a solution for minor problems and the advice they offered on light/space/design was invaluable. Despite the general increase in costs and shortage of materials during this pandemic, Andy brought the whole project in on time and within the original budget. His team worked well together, were polite and friendly and ensured that they understood the requirements and level of finish we were trying to achieve. In short - on time, on budget and a quality job. Can't recommend him strongly enough.

I originally left positive feedback for Daniel as I was initially pleased with the fence job that he did. However Daniel by his own admission 'forgot' to re-attach the back fence to the new fence he had installed. Dan came back to fix this problem but unknown to me he had just put one very short screw through the posts achieving nothing. So when we had the recent winds down came my back fence and my neighbours new fence was also damaged. I called Daniel again to be told 'it was not his problem' nor part of his job to attach the joining fence. I have had a professional fencer come and assess the work who had advised it is of very poor standard and any professional would have secured the joining fence properly. Daniel has not used sufficient postcrete either around the concrete post. Unskilled or lazy, i'm not sure. Daniel eventually returned after letting me down to see if we could sort our differences. I advised Daniel that I was not expecting a new or free back fence from him as eventually I would have replaced it. However I did expect him to correct the bad work he had done. He agreed and left. However a few days later he has written to me telling me he is not going to do the work. Seems I am not the only person to have this experience with this trader. I strongly advise to avoid.
