Gary and his team cut corners from the beginning. A job that was quoted to take 4-6 weeks ended up taking around 14 weeks and even then was not completed by gary and his team due to him walking off the job. They used substandard materials which meant things needed replaced before the job had even finished. Overall the “finishing touches” for the job were absolutely horrendous. A child’s playhouse had nails sticking out of the wood. The nails in the fence had all rusted, the lawn wasn’t laid correct so couldn’t drain. The level on extension was completely wrong. Gary himself was quite rude and Him and his team were extremely unreliable. 100% would not recommend, save your time, money and sanity

Dave Market (DMP Building Solutions) came originally to view a lounge extension I was intending on building but we agreed on a kitchen extension due to front elevation restrictions imposed by the council. He talked us through the process and gave us a very positive vibe. He put us in contact with a surveyor and we went through a lengthy planning process which stalled our build for approx 9 months. No fault of Dave. The build started in July and completed in October. Council Building Inspectors threw a few curve balls in and Dave also had a few personnel changes to his team during the build, however his dedication and professionalism never wavered from the goal. We now have a beautiful extension with a sloping roof incorporating a velux window. A nicely tiled floor and panelled ceiling along with new additional units, tiling, plumbing, woodwork, plastering all done to a very high standard. Where Dave finds issues or wants professional assistance he has a wide range of experts at hand including, roofers, electricians, gas specialist, window/door fitter, kitchen fitters. He doesn't make do with tasks he uses these professionals to ensure things are done right. The outside has been finished in matching brick and slate with white pvc pipework and guttering. All very easy on the eye. I'd recommend DMP solutions to anybody wishing to have an extension built and I'm sure other work would also be completed to just as high a standard.

Liam provided expert advice on stone selection and finish, liaised with stone supplier on sizes and quantities etc then managed the job through to completion. Very Professional job with nice finish and all work areas left clean and tidy at the end of each day. I would not hesitate to use Northern Stonework again for any masonry or stonework. Excellent.

Martin and his team did a fantastic job on converting my garage, from start to finish. I chose MJ Developments due to Martin’s professionalism and realistic pricing. He worked with me every step of the way and despite having several other projects on the go, I must commend him on his efficiency and time management skills to start and complete the project to my own requested time scale. I am really happy with my front garden, it now looks completely in keeping with the period and has transformed the look of the whole terrace. Peter really understood what I wanted, and had a huge amount of knowledge of the type of renovation and the difference it could make by using stone of the period, together with the right kind of flag stones to help reflect light into the front of the house. I cannot believe the difference it has made to the front of my house. I would absolutely recommend Peter and would not hesitate to use him again.
