Loft Conversion- 5 May 2017
Artjom and his team have done a wonerful job on our loft conversion and house renovation. We are very pleased at the transformation. Although not the cheapest quote we obtained, they were highly professional, kept the noise down and cleaned up after themselves. We also added several other jobs to our initial quote and they undertook these as requested. It is important to keep a record of everything you ask to be done. They worked very fast and were able to complete everything within 2 months - it helped that our house was empty at the time, so they didn't have to deal with us living there at the same time as the works were being carried out. Overall, I would highly recommend Adam Renovations for any building works you need done to your property.

Worst job ever. The first day he came at 10.30am started the job left at 9pm said it would take a day & a half. The next day he said he would be here at 8.30am again he came at 10.30am & his words were I’m going to finish in 2 hours maximum. By 3pm he still hadn’t finished & I heard him speaking to someone on the phone saying that he would be there in 45 minutes.then he told me he needed a part for my job & he would be a couple of hours, he came back 4 hours later without a part.Again he was here till 9.30pm. He said he had finished. I went to look and his work was bad. I complained he said he would come back the next day. the next he said he had finished & I told him I wasn’t happy he came back the next day. He tidied up his mistakes.he shaved the bottom of the door off a bit as it wouldn’t close coz of the new tiles & he left, as he was leaving he said please give me a good review. I said I’ll tell the truth & he said but the truth isn’t good. He didn’t stick the threshold back on.

Please avoid this company for many reasons. There work is absolutely shocking and the owner is incompetent and should be ashamed of himself how he left my job. I’ve tried to contact Elijah and he’s blocked me, he’s an absolute disgrace. I will put up pictures of his work so you can see how bad his work is.

The bathroom was refurbished from top to bottom even changing the location of basin, toilet and shower. One worker employed by AGStar Ltd did the entire job including floor and wall tiling. The worker cleaned up the stairs and the hall everyday before finishing for the day. When requested to carry out additional small jobs, not part of the contract, the worker always obliged. The refurbishment of the bathroom was carried out to a very high standard by just one worker and in short period of 10 days. I would recommend this company for all building work although a little pricey!

William and his team did a great job of redecorating our 4 bed period property inside and out. William gave a detailed quote which enabled us to select or deselect some items and know the relevant cost. There were some minor snags that required extra plastering and repointing all handled with ease and no fuss. The communications were good and the team were hard working and courteous. I would not hesitate to use William again.

Haxhi and his team exceed my expectations. We did agree on a bathroom renovation which basically everything was done from scratch. He was always on time and he met the deadline of the project. I had an issue with my water pump but he managed to fix it for little cost. Also he did the tiles for me on the wall and floor with very minimum waste and he did a brilliant job. We changed the position of the basin in order to save space and we did replace it the washing machine(hidden). We are now working on my other property to renovate the bathroom. Hahxi is very professional, knows the job very well, he did coordinate with me on every step to make sure we are on the same page . I strongly recommend him for any renovation project you may have.

Andy and his team did a good job replacing our bathroom and cloakroom. The job overran due to a couple of logistical problems with different tradesmen, but Andy did his best to minimise the disruption. Good communication and accurate quote, which was stuck to. Overall, we're happy with the outcome.

On a cold November evening, Tony and his team turned up to provide a quote and within a week this was received. The quoted price came in the middle of the pile, which was a good start and aligned closely to the ballpark figure I'd received from a friend who was also in the trade. We then visited a site they were finishing off, and Tony had the confidence to ask us to speak to the client without him there and they gave us the confidence to proceed. They started in January 2020 and rapidly moved through the works and engaged closely with my architect, Structural engineer and building control and proceeded based on their recommendations strictly. We lived in the property as build progressed and the team ensured that the site was secure every evening and we were safe. As COVID-19 hit and we went into Lockdown, the team continued to come and work (we were separated from them as the house was boarded up) and the only challenge was getting supplies. Tony scoured all over London, picking up items as best as he could and work continued. Once they'd broken through into the old part of the house they continued to progress rapidly and showed utter professionalism. The team lead's attention to detail is impressive, and he gave great recommendations on what would be the right approach when we were laying out features such as window sizing and lighting. The standard of work is excellent and I would highly recommend them.

There seems to have been a communication issue with these builders. The job seems fine, but took much less time than they said and seems half finished to me. I expressed this concern and asked for a breakdown of costs (receipts of materials, hourly rate, etc). They would not supply any of these. I feel the cost was much more than it should have been considering how little time it took. I will not use them again and do not recommend them.
