His communication leading up to the job was great and he gets on with his work in a quiet, polite and conscientious manner. He's very polite and hard working, and even with small challenges during the course of his work, he managed to deliver the project in time and with highest standards. Bathroom Fitting- 5 Aug 2017
Very satisfied with our bathroom. There were a few hiccups along the way relating to the condition of our old bathroom but Rich and his team dealt with them quickly. The job was finished to a high standard and it felt like extra care was taken to get things right. The price quoted was stuck to and additional extras confirmed e.g. it was found our floor was rotten due to a leak so the boards had to be replaced. The only thing I would comment on to improve would be a bit more communication. Both myself & husband were at work when the team were in and for us it would have been nice to receive a message or two to let us know what work was done so we could see when we got home, we've never had builders in before and felt a bit in the dark about timescales and on occasion disappointed that things didn't move as quickly as we thought they would. We accept timescales were our own expectations just an idea that perhaps we needed them managed. Overall a great job by a great team.

Quailty of work was good and happy with the overall finish. Just minor finishings letting the project down. Plumber changed towards the end due to personal issues. Electrician was good, had no issues with him. Plasterers are by far some of the best out there. A massive area to plaster and they worked solid for at least a week to get completed. Card brad out to a leak, he came the next day to resolve the issue, which so far hasn't come back.

DK proved to be totally out of their depth tackling our extension. They failed to meet every deadline they gave us. With no option, we had to give them notice to finish, or leave. With a week still to go, they have packed-up their tools (for the first time ever) and left us with promises to return. We do not expect to see them back. Our experience (5 months), is that DK work “gentleman’s hours” (at best) and take lengthy breaks away from site during their short working day. When on site, they are largely distracted by mobile phones, chit-chat, squabbling and generally having a good time. They are hugely unproductive and even their own sub-contractors ridicule their work ethic. DK proved that they were unable to deliver on time, or even to deliver a couple of months late. DK rely heavily on sub-contractors (just as well) but demonstrated their inability to effectively manage them. They struggled with budget control, planning, coordinating, invoicing and failed to get materials to site on time. Diggers, dumpers, scaffold towers etc. languished unused on site for months. DK reduced our home and garden very quickly to a mess. Waste materials, packaging, glass, tools, fixings, drink bottles, food wrappers, etc. were dropped when no longer wanted. The wind blew and builders debris flew about the site and when it rained, water repeatedly poured in through the roof of our home, a roof that they knowingly left open to the elements for weeks and weeks in the autumn.

We hired Harry Antonius Builders for a contract to do a garage conversion on our Cotswold home. From the moment we met and discussed the need, Harry was extremely professional and helpful. We began the work and were helped through the design and production of a new bedroom and en-suite. Harry Antonius is extremly reliable, not a day missed and was always there to provide answers and a best way forward to develop a large bedroom and a stunning conversion! The workmanship was first class and the materials used were the best at a very affordable price; the drive was used to store goods and was always clean and tidy at day's end. We highly recommend Harry and his team for any medium size building work. Finally, I would say the we gained a firend after the work was completed!
