We hired Vasile and his team in May for our bathroom refurbishment, and were relieved he could also handle painting and floor sanding. His organisational skills took pressure off us, managing works and trades seamlessly. He impressed us from the start with his attention to detail and despite a tight schedule, Vasile had no problem accommodating our needs. When further issues emerged mid-project, Vasile handled the added time and cost pressure with calm and professionalism and managed disruption to neighbours tactfully. He always offered smart solutions that balanced technical skill with aesthetics and had a can-do attitude. His team was equally great — experienced, careful with our flat, tidy, and respectful of communal areas. We couldn’t be happier with the results! He took real pride in his work, was patient throughout, and was always present for advice and guidance which we really appreciated. We felt in great hands from start to finish — highly recommended. During the quote nothing was too difficult and Iustin had some great ideas. 'You tell me what you want and we'll do it.' Great. Day one they caused a leak into the kitchen. Halfway through day two we ordered work to stop because it was still leaking. It took several calls to Iustin to resolve. The leak caused the extractor fan in the kitchen to drop. They fixed at the end but the lights on it don't work consistently. Attention to detail was zero. Floor not sealed behind cupboard, wobbly plaster, streaks of white paint on blue (and vice versa), chipped paint, and tiles not evenly placed, with roughly cut edges. New flooring laid before finishing the walls, dropping sealant, dust and paint on it. Many things had to be redone or changed - but they generally did redo when asked. A window they put in is lower than agreed and the pebbledash doesn't match. They installed the vanity unit on the wrong wall. No dust sheets were put down over kitchen surfaces when drilling through concrete, covering everything in a thick layer of dust. The project was contracted to finish by 4 September, but took until 15 September. Iustin did apologise for this on the last day. On the last day, Marin threatened us because we wanted to wait until the job was finished to send the final payment. At that point we'd paid £500 more in instalments than agreed. Receipts for materials contained items not used or not ours. They took away things that we'd paid for. Overall not a great experience.

Kel and his team worked on my single storey extension with bifold doors and glass roof. He also did some landscaping in my garden, replacing the fencing and installing a raised patio with cedar battens to the side. Overall I was very pleased with the work Kel did. He is a good communicator and frequently visited the site to keep on top of the work. Kel was happy to discuss requests and was flexible with design changes. The bulk of the work was completed on time with just some minor snags remaining, but the finish is excellent. It's been a long and stressful journey, but it's been easier with the friendly support and professional approach Kel has taken to his job. I'd be happy to recommend Craft of London and provide a reference on request.

100% RECOMMENDED Michelle and her partner measured up and competitively quoted within a short space of time. She was then very patient and supportive when unforeseen planning issues popped up and set the start date back by quite some time. Once building started, all questions were promptly answered by either the site manager or Michelle, both being available at all times. I was away for the duration of most of the job and it was very reassuring to know that I was leaving it all in capable and honest hands. The workers were very proficient and tidied up after themselves at end of each day. They also put in some very long hours at times to hasten the work. I was also impressed by the handling of unexpected problems during the building (mainly invasive tree stumps!). I am absolutely thrilled with the end result. High quality workmanship and a beautiful building which I am sure will last many years. I would certainly recommend them without a doubt.
