On a cold November evening, Tony and his team turned up to provide a quote and within a week this was received. The quoted price came in the middle of the pile, which was a good start and aligned closely to the ballpark figure I'd received from a friend who was also in the trade. We then visited a site they were finishing off, and Tony had the confidence to ask us to speak to the client without him there and they gave us the confidence to proceed. They started in January 2020 and rapidly moved through the works and engaged closely with my architect, Structural engineer and building control and proceeded based on their recommendations strictly. We lived in the property as build progressed and the team ensured that the site was secure every evening and we were safe. As COVID-19 hit and we went into Lockdown, the team continued to come and work (we were separated from them as the house was boarded up) and the only challenge was getting supplies. Tony scoured all over London, picking up items as best as he could and work continued. Once they'd broken through into the old part of the house they continued to progress rapidly and showed utter professionalism. The team lead's attention to detail is impressive, and he gave great recommendations on what would be the right approach when we were laying out features such as window sizing and lighting. The standard of work is excellent and I would highly recommend them.

Mr Rifat did an excellent job for plastering rooms and i would recommend him to everyone highly. The work he has done is to a very high standard and completed in 3 days. His quote was very helpful and comprehensive and he was helpful and very kind and calm. He did not take a break from doing the work, even though i told him to take a seat for 5-10 minutes. He is a very hardworking person. I think anyone to catch him to do a job for themselves is very lucky. I recommend him to everyone because he knows how to do good job.

KBL recently completed a side infill extension for us that involved a lot of complex hurdles (e.g., requiring special foundations because of a Thames Water waste pipe and steel beams). In hindsight, we were very lucky to have hired them because they made the whole experience stress-free by explaining everything to us and handling our neighbours, contractors, structural engineer and building control for us. The amount of digging in confined spaces and hard, physical labour they put into this job is amazing. The extension looks great, is solid, warm and watertight. The wetroom they built inside it hasn't had any problems - plumbing is working great. Their plastering quality is excellent. We had to live in the property during the 4 months of construction but we felt relaxed and 100% trusted KBL to respect and care for the house. They have a lot of experience, know the building regulations, use quality materials and methods, they answered all of our questions with patience and always responded to my phone calls + texts quickly. They're so good that we'll give them an additional job to do which we originally planned for in spring 2024. Everyone we know wants KBL's contact details and we definitely want to ask them back for future work.

When Mr Nesimi came to undertake a pre-assessment for my front wall, he came across very professional and genuine and very honest about the work needed doing. He even suggested some changes to the work to reduce cost. The quote he gave me for the job was very reasonable and he was able to slot in my job within a week and arrive sharp on time at 8am and got on to the job straight away as I had a busy day at work for me to attend to. I notice that right from the start he was very clean and meticulous with the work and his job was of a very high quality ( compared to a job I had done by another builder 9 months ago). My neighbours also noticed this difference and were praising Mr Nesimi’s work. I would definitely recommend Mr Nesimi for any construction work as I felt he was very professional, reliable and honest and most of all the work was of high quality. I will be certainly calling him for my next job, most likely the driveway resurfacing and the attic conversion within the next year.

Alban completed a lateral kitchen extension for me in west London. Very happy with the results and to add my name to others that have given 100% positive feedback. What I particularly liked - (1) Alban took great care to protect the rest of my house while working (protection, covers etc), (2) his team were friendly and polite to neighbours. Building works are always noisy and disruptive, they kept others 'on side' and (3) they worked to the timing and schedule agreed (4) they cleaned up, every single day (5) they worked to a high standard and corrected for any issues, despite my inevitable last minute changes. Victor (Vica) laid some engineered oak wood flooring for us in a house that we bought at the end of 2013. The house needed lots of work doing and the new flooring was just one of the many jobs undertaken by Victor and carried out to a very high standard for us. He always paid attention to detail, ensured that the flooring was level and that the new skirting board fitted flush to the floorboards. He was also always able to provide a solution to any problems encountered during the renovation works. I would have no hesitation in recommending Victor as he takes the same pride in his work for others as if he was carrying out work in his own home.
