My colleague referred me to Raed who previously have had used R.Hamandi Ltd for construction work and they were very happy with the quality of service. Along with some other building company's last year I also contacted Raed for an estimate. Raed gave us a reasonable price with all the details of proposed work. He also explained about the possible options of how we could get the best value for our money. His professional and friendly advice helped us a lot to understand what exactly we needed and what was best for us to go ahead for our project. We decided to go ahead with R.Hamandi ltd. Raed gave us breakdown of the project and everything was documented. His support in communicating with council and planning related issues was valuable. All the planning permission requirements were followed. Presence of experienced and trust worthy staff including laborers, handymen, carpenters and painters really made it easy for me and family to be around and comfortable while they were working or to leave the house whenever we had to. Raed himself used to visit the site everyday to oversee the progress and used to discuss and take care of any possible issues. Raed's team used to turn up on time and the project was finished on time too. Even after the completion of the project staff at R.Hamandi ltd and Raed himself contacted us few times to find out if we're happy with the work carried out or if we needed any further assistance. Now we have a fully refurbed house with double side extension and loft conversion. Overall amazing service, professional, reliable and trustworthy. We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and quality of workmanship from REA Construction. The project was delivered within budget and on time. We lived in the property during the work and we, our neighbours and the site were always treated with the utmost consideration. There were almost no hitches and, when they did occur, they were dealt with immediately and thoroughly. Our project team, led by Kristjan and Besi, were universally hardworking, organised and produced work to an excellent standard. Communication is great, the people are wonderful. Renato was someone I felt I could trust from the moment I met him and he never let us down. He and everyone at REA genuinely care about what they do and that their customers have a happy experience. We certainly did and would have no hesitation recommending them to others.

Jacob was very accommodating and flexible. His team were great and he completed the work nicely. There was some splatter from the cementing on to my neighbour's wall. He tried to clean it off but it wouldn't all come off. Therefore, he went out and bought some paint and repainted their wall. I would get him back for more work without hesitation. When looking for a builder - they have to be honest, work hard and to an excellent quality without cutting corners. They should be responsible to ensure neighbours property isn't damaged and provide consultancy as what we want and want is realistic can differ significantly! - and if any issues rectify them once the job is complete and of course provide good after sales. I have used several builders over the years - very few tick all of the above boxes. Jacob certainly does.

Neno is a very warm-hearted and genuine person. He gives his 100% to the job. He is also very prompt when it comes to communication and is always available by phone/text/email. He has a vast experience and good technical know-how and produced excellent plans and drawings. His quotes were very reasonable and offer excellent value for your hard earned money. Having been his client, I am genuinely inclined to believe he is a person who would never "rip off" his clients. He is a man of his word and does what he says. However, Neno's honesty and confidence can be a bit blunt at times. He can be quite “direct” with his opinions and this may rub off some people the wrong way, e.g. your local Council Planning officer may be an a**hole, but if you "confront" him, he will definitely not make things any easier for you- nevertheless, Neno dealt with all the Council red tape and followed up the Planning Permission Application to its conclusion. We finally got permission for extending the property much less than what we had expected initially- apparently our local Council (Hillingdon) has its own set of Draconian conservative rules that we were unaware of- but we have postponed the actual project work due to a recent change in personal circumstances. Summary: Based on my personal experience, I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND Neno as a bona fide Tradesman on MyBuilder.com.

Our brick garden wall was collapsing and I contacted Richard Fitzgerald for a quotation. I'd already had a few quotes from other builders, some of whom had told me I needed work doing that didn't need doing! I found Richard to be trustworthy. He provided a competitive quote. He managed to source bricks that matched the colour of the adjoining wall, gave us a detailed breakdown of the work he would do, and didn't ask for any payment in advance. He built a strong brick wall with a concrete support wall behind. The finished wall is excellent and we are very happy with the work he and his team have done. On finishing the work the premises were left clean and tidy. I am very happy to recommend him.

I did quite a bit of research before choosing Battersea Builders. They didn’t come in with the cheapest quote but I never base my choice on price alone. And it wasn’t miles above the other quotes I got. Instead, I chose them because they ticked a lot of boxes including a) good independent reviews, b) a dedicated PM, c) qualifications, d) quick responses, e) a decent website etc. Overall, they did a fantastic job. The quality of the work and finish is really good. The PM, Tommy, was really helpful throughout and the team was very polite and conscientious. They were also on site every day as promised and didn’t play that old builders trick of getting the job and then going offsite to secure another job elsewhere (resulting in the deadline being missed). Was it perfect? No, but then not many projects are. I have a few minor comments including the fact there was a misunderstanding about the quality of bathroom cupboard I needed so the original quote was insufficient and costs had to be increased half way through the project. Despite this issue, Tommy did his best to keep the extra costs down. One other niggle was that I asked them to keep all the manuals and instructions for all the fittings but they threw them out. Not a big deal but quite annoying. Overall, it wasn’t cheap but I would use them again because the work was done to a high standard and the team were a pleasure to work with.
