We are really pleased with the work completed by Jonny and his team. Jonny was great at keeping in touch, offering advice and working to the time frames we needed on this project. The work was completed on time with no issues or additional / hidden costs. They were extremely helpful and we would definitely recommend Jonny and his team. Avoid this guy at all costs. Claims to have 30yrs experience behind him in the construction industry. This is not the case. He has no experience whatsoever. A DIY handyman would know more. Claims to have a a team of professional tradesmen, this again is untrue. He gets them through Gumtree and Mybuilder when required. Non of the tradesmen who he got for our project had ever worked for him before. They had no loyalties to him or ourselves. He was caught out telling lies to us and the tradesmen he employed. He actually told one of the tradesmen to tell us lies but that particular guy told us the truth and was honest. Unless you want a professional liar stay clear. Choose your tradesmen wisely.We were unfortunate!!

Bill carried out some roof repairs to the house, including fixing paneling on a dormer window, replacing tiles and pointing my chimney, all were done very well. He also fitted a brand new roof on my garage called 'Firestone', its a rubber roof which is guaranteed for 30+ years. Again, he done a brilliant job. Overall, Bill was a very knowledgeable, helpful and trustworthy guy. I would recommend RL contracts to anyone!

Good bunch of guys lead by Bill. We found them easy to deal and any issues, not that there was really any, dealt with by common sense. There was no messing about.....get in and get the job done and this was amid coronavirus. I would recommend Kirk contracts and would use them again in the future.

Hired Chris to do build porch extension that would give us a downstairs toilet. Though the job has been done it is of a completely shoddy standard. The problems we faced with Chris were: 1. Delays; he went way over the time he quoted and he constantly had excuse after excuse and every week promised a new deadline that invariably would not be met. Getting him back for consecutive days in the middle of the project was a nightmare as he had started work on another project. 2. His plumbing skills; Chris is absolutely terrible at plumbing from our experience. Every bit of pipe he touched had leaks after he had worked on it and we had to call in a reliable plumber we know to fix it all. To be fair, Chris agreed to the cost of the plumber coming off of his bill with no arguments. He also tried running the pipes for the new toilet from the kitchen tap to outside and along the outside walls. That was also fixed by our plumber. 4. Plastering; The plastering he done is awful. 5. Joinery; The skirting boards he put on are not a match for ours and they do not sit flush to the floor. In the toilet, the skirting is coming away under the sink. 6. Electrics; The wiring for the lights in the toilet and front door do not meet British Standards and are not earthed. 7. Damp; We are now having to hire another company to damp proof the extension and fix the elctrics. 8. Messy; He made a mess of our drive doing the rough casting and our new floor when he was plastering,

Contacted My Builder.com - had a reply from Niall within 5 minutes. Jobs priced within 2 days Quotes given for 3 separate jobs. I cannot recommend Carlin Contracts enough - When I first met Niall and his Dad, I just knew I had made the right decision. Lovely Boys... Work carried out to a very high standard, extra little jobs carried out at no extra cost - the initial quote never changed in spite of extra work needed eg dehumidifier had to be kept for longer than anticipated due to extremely wet wall, again no extra charge quote you are given does not change. Saving up now to get the next job done by Carlin Contracts - Thanks Niall and Michael Diane C

Jim and his team carried out a remodel of our house in Belfast, we live in California so it was a bit more challenging. They created an open floor plan, found many original features that they helped us save. Not only did they do an amazing job on the house they did it with the attitude to help us in anyway they could. They took late meetings with us due to the time change and even when the job was done I am still in contact when I need anything and they are eager to help. After they did the inside remodel we recently had them do the backyard , they installed a new deck which looks amazing. We also have plans for the future that include more work from this amazing team. We highly recommend them to anyone in need of updating their home. Thanks Again for everything!

Really positive experience with Michael. Made our downstairs mid terrace open plan, putting in a picture frame steel support to knock through two rooms. Finished job is excellent. Quick to get organised and open communication throughout. It was our first building job in Belfast and Michael was extremely helpful in talking through the process and made everything a breeze. Absolutely zero issues and everything was hassle free from start to finish. Will be using again for sure!
