I’m really happy with the work carried out. He came in to fix my steps after a previous builder had damaged them and left them unstable, and the difference is night and day. Everything now feels solid, secure and properly finished. He also fixed the skirting boards and installed my desk, all to a very high standard. What I really appreciated was how professional he was throughout and the advice he gave along the way, which showed real experience and care for the job. Overall, a really high-quality finish and a great attitude. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him.

We asked BLG to complete a different job to the one we advertised as weren't ready to start it. Instead they completed a 2 bedroom flat renovation, including ripping out and installation of kitchen, removing plasterboard walls, making good, painting and decorating and recarpeting/tiling. Their work and professionalism was great but even better was their attitude. They were always quick to find good solutions to problems, were extremely accomodating, informative, hard working and prices were very reasonable - at no point did I feel I was being ripped off or being treated like a mug, which after completing multiple renovations in the past am well aware of. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Victor (Vica) laid some engineered oak wood flooring for us in a house that we bought at the end of 2013. The house needed lots of work doing and the new flooring was just one of the many jobs undertaken by Victor and carried out to a very high standard for us. He always paid attention to detail, ensured that the flooring was level and that the new skirting board fitted flush to the floorboards. He was also always able to provide a solution to any problems encountered during the renovation works. I would have no hesitation in recommending Victor as he takes the same pride in his work for others as if he was carrying out work in his own home.

Milen, initially came as I had a leak in my ensuit where the tiles had lost their grout. He was very honest in giving me advice, and regrouted at a very reasonable price. He then came a month later to remove the tiles in the shower and replace the plaster protection board, then retiled. He purchased all the products and gave me advice on the most valuable sustainable tiles. The work was carried out a to very high level, I would most definitely hire Milen in the future, and highly recommend him.

Really pleased with Slawek and his team and would defiantly recommend them after seeing a professional kitchen fit job which they did for me. This builder expects you to be able to list every single part of the job that needs doing. If it's not communicated through messaging that you need something doing as part of the job then he won't do it. For example - the partition wall that was put up, was not filled because he said that was not communicated in the messages. I would not know everything that should be done in order for a partition wall to look half completed. It is perfectly clear that this is a common occurrence as he repeatedly mentioned how he always shows people the messages sent back and fourth as proof of what they asked for. Bottom line - if you don't know all the tiny steps included in the job you want done then be expected to not get a full job done. He took off £100 off the agreed price due to my disbelief and disgust but this did not help as I then had to find another builder to complete what should have been completed. How can any builder put up a partition wall and not fill where plaster boards are joined

Positively, certain aspects of the finishing, particularly tiling, were carried out to a good standard. However, the overall experience was mixed due to significant issues. There were notable challenges during the project involving basic logistics and site management, leading to considerable inconvenience that seemed avoidable. Furthermore, the quality of workmanship was inconsistent; while some parts were good, other areas involving fittings and fixtures showed a lack of attention to detail in the finish, requiring later adjustments. Communication during the process could also be difficult, particularly regarding problem-solving and planning for materials. While we appreciated the parts done well, the project was let down by these inconsistencies and process issues, leading to some ongoing snagging and disappointment.

Restoration & Refurbishment- 16 May 2021
TLC have completed the first phase of the project which has involved a complete renovation and upgrade of the kitchen, bathroom, and rear garden area. A new contemporary staircase has also been fitted. The work has been completed well ahead of schedule, and this is testament to the planning and coordination skills provided by TLC. All of the work has been completed to a very high standard, and a great deal of care has been taken to ensure the minimum disruption to the local residents. We are extremely grateful for the advice and support provided to us leading up to the restoration work and whilst the restoration was underway, and we are absolutely delighted with the final results. Our house has been transformed into a contemporary family home. Many thanks to Bradley, Paul, and the rest of the team at TLC.
