I had a very poor experience with this contractor and would strongly advise potential customers to be cautious before paying substantial sums in advance. I paid £3,672 by bank transfer following an invoice for the supply of structural steelwork. There were significant delays and communication issues, and the steel was not supplied to me as agreed. After giving him opportunities and clear deadlines to resolve the situation, I terminated the agreement and had to make alternative arrangements to keep my project moving. Most concerningly, despite my requests, the £3,672 I paid has still not been refunded as of the date of this review, and I am now pursuing the matter formally. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this contractor. I would advise anyone considering using his services to be extremely cautious about making advance payments. I will update this review if my £3,672 is returned.

Handyman- 16 Aug 2025
Sorry no show. No communication until I initiated only to know the day before that he is not coming because he has been in the hospitals. No initiative to set a next date and I have already bought £250 worth of materials. I gave chance to a new starter but was bitten. Avoid. I will ask my builder to compensate as there seems to me a guarantee from my builder.

Couldn't recommend Domi & Emile enough. They have great building knowledge and kept us informed and up to date throughout the whole building process. The job was finished to a high standard and they even came back free of charge to tie up a few snags a few weeks later. Great builders and a great team!

Loft Conversion- 22 Aug 2025
I had Panesar Builders build a dormer extension garden room and a bedroom above the garage around two years ago. I deliberately waited before writing a review to be sure there were no hidden issues — and I can happily say everything has held up perfectly. Before choosing Panesar Builders, I researched and spoke with many builders. His quote came in at a fair, middle-ground price — not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either. I felt confident in my choice, and two years on I can say it was absolutely the right decision. The work was completed to a high standard, communication throughout the project was clear, and the whole process was smooth. Two years later, the extension is still solid, with no problems at all. It has completely transformed our home. I really appreciated the professionalism, reliability, and attention to detail shown. I would have no hesitation in recommending Panesar Builders to anyone looking for a trustworthy builder who delivers quality work that lasts.

Bathroom Fitting- 20 Sep 2017
We hired Luca for a job that involved a variety of work across our entire flat. Being totally new to renovation work and having been stung by other builders, meeting Luca was a breath of fresh air – he was friendly, helpful and honest. Luca did an great job for a very reasonable price. He’s fairly new to contracting bigger jobs, but he’s got a lot of previous experience as a tradesman and his plastering in particular was perfect – we’ve had loads of compliments on the quality of his walls and ceilings. He was always on time, always communicated with us fully, and was a pleasure to have around the flat. He made a real effort to keep disruption as minimal as possible and was very patient with us about stuff needing to be moved from one place to another. It wasn’t the easiest job and there were a couple of problems and extras, but Luca takes a lot of pride in his trade and worked extremely hard to keep us happy. We had a couple of plumbing issues arise but he went well above and beyond to resolve them, coming back for 2 days after the job was due to be finished to make sure that everything was working properly. This is far more than we expected, and we did really trust that Luca wasn’t the sort of person that would leave anything unfinished. We’re so chuffed that we met Luca and with the excellent work he did, and would love to work with him again. Luca is going to go on to big things, so if you get the chance to hire him now, we'd recommend him without hesitation.

Great job done by Naim and his team. He expressed interest in the job as soon as I posted. If it hadn't been for some wet weather the job would have been completed much sooner in the timescale he quoted. There was one small issue some time after the job was completed. I only called Naim once and he arranged a day to come fix it. We're very pleased with the finish, we would give future work to him and also recommend him to friends & family.

Bathroom Fitting- 30 May 2022
Mohammed Huda and his builder were professional and quick to attend our job –– recommend! The communication was fast and professional. Mohammed provided a detailed quote (our job had to go through insurance) that is fair and transparent. The builder who came around, Jafa, was very respectful to our things. We were able to trust him from the get-go and had a peace of mind when he was working. He works incredibly hard and is methodical in his process (e.g. painting ceiling first, then walls, so to avoid splatter unevenness). They responded to our requests quickly and fixed things we weren't 100% happy with. The team finished the job ahead of time, and gave us tips for refurbishing in the future. Very happy and highly recommend!

I gave him the opportunity as I was desperate to find someone fast, and didn’t have much success on here.Soon as he accepted,he was already asking for cash beforehand to get materials.I thought you know what, his company details are online, what can go wrong so I did.As his team started the job, they told me I needed to have 2 fences erected as they were badly damaged and deteriorating.I thought heck, why not, might aswell do it now so I gave him again, the opportunity to make some extra business with us.Again, was asked for some pre payment to get the materials, all in cash. All was finished within 2days of the weekend.Fence looked fine, but the roof just looked like a cowboy job.I didn’t complain,as it was done fast, with all the stress with opening a new business,it was one less headache out of the way. After 1 day of rain, the roof was already leaking, like absolutely everywhere.Called him, and he got someone to come by a few days after to fill in more silicone.(Very suspect job again).I thought fine, aslong he’s responding and trying to fix the situation.Fast forward few days later, bearing in mind the shop isn’t open and I’m not always there when it’s raining,it rained again and it was leaking in some areas again.Whatsapped him which is how we normally communicated, called him, read my messages but no reply. Now he has blocked me.Seriously, how he knows I’m opening a business soon this is how he wants to treat his customers. Simply give me back my money or fix the problem, simple!
