Alton and his team at Bluelime have been incredibly helpful and enthusiastic throughout our design and planning process. From the start, Alton took his time to understand our needs and propose several cost-effective ways to improve my home and create more space for my growing family. The design process was completed efficiently and submitted for planning permission, which was granted without a problem. Since then, his team have continued to be helpful and communicative despite my need to delay to the building works due to unfortunate complications with my freeholder.

We couldn’t be happier with the professionalism and quality of workmanship from REA Construction. The project was delivered within budget and on time. We lived in the property during the work and we, our neighbours and the site were always treated with the utmost consideration. There were almost no hitches and, when they did occur, they were dealt with immediately and thoroughly. Our project team, led by Kristjan and Besi, were universally hardworking, organised and produced work to an excellent standard. Communication is great, the people are wonderful. Renato was someone I felt I could trust from the moment I met him and he never let us down. He and everyone at REA genuinely care about what they do and that their customers have a happy experience. We certainly did and would have no hesitation recommending them to others.

Working with Petrit was a very pleasant and enjoyable experience. He and his team are friendly and open for discussions. They’re quick, affordable, and help with decision making. Would hire again! Have to say as well, as a woman, Petrit and his team treated my husband and I equally, unlike my experience with other tradesmen who direct all their conversations to the men. Petrit knocked opened up our living kitchen area, laid herringbone floors, replastered the property, installed new radiators, added a built in ladder to our attic, and re did our bathroom. He also helped us match the floor boards from an existing room and helped us source front and back doors for much better price than what we were getting quoted in East London. The painting of the entire house was done in a rush as we needed to move in, so the attention to detail fell down a little here compared to everything else that was done, but I wouldn’t hesitate to work with Petrit again!! After and before pics included!

Very please with everything, they turned up on time and when they said they would, cleaned up and finished build on time as agreed. I would recommend them to anyone.

Milen, initially came as I had a leak in my ensuit where the tiles had lost their grout. He was very honest in giving me advice, and regrouted at a very reasonable price. He then came a month later to remove the tiles in the shower and replace the plaster protection board, then retiled. He purchased all the products and gave me advice on the most valuable sustainable tiles. The work was carried out a to very high level, I would most definitely hire Milen in the future, and highly recommend him.

Fully electrify a new rear, 2 storey side, porch extension and shed. Arek was always the first one on site, worked very professionally, interacted well with the other builders and was happy to accommodate minor changes to the project. He suggested improvements to the the lighting layout and configuration were taken aboard. I highly recommend him and I'll also be using him to change my house consumer unit in the coming weeks.

Alex and the guys did a brilliant job from beginning till end. They were so helpful in getting a quote and advice on how to best proceed. I also got a clear upfront quote before work started. They did the job exactly as discussed and in the time expected, and it looks really nice. They're also really nice people, tidy and considerate and just no hassle at all. I'll definitely hire them again for any future work. It was only a days' work, and the whole job was finished in less than a week from when I posted the ad. I really can't think of anything negative to say at all.

I did quite a bit of research before choosing Battersea Builders. They didn’t come in with the cheapest quote but I never base my choice on price alone. And it wasn’t miles above the other quotes I got. Instead, I chose them because they ticked a lot of boxes including a) good independent reviews, b) a dedicated PM, c) qualifications, d) quick responses, e) a decent website etc. Overall, they did a fantastic job. The quality of the work and finish is really good. The PM, Tommy, was really helpful throughout and the team was very polite and conscientious. They were also on site every day as promised and didn’t play that old builders trick of getting the job and then going offsite to secure another job elsewhere (resulting in the deadline being missed). Was it perfect? No, but then not many projects are. I have a few minor comments including the fact there was a misunderstanding about the quality of bathroom cupboard I needed so the original quote was insufficient and costs had to be increased half way through the project. Despite this issue, Tommy did his best to keep the extra costs down. One other niggle was that I asked them to keep all the manuals and instructions for all the fittings but they threw them out. Not a big deal but quite annoying. Overall, it wasn’t cheap but I would use them again because the work was done to a high standard and the team were a pleasure to work with.

We initially hired Michael to convert a bathroom into an office. After meeting him and discussing our longer-term plans, we quickly felt confident moving forward with him on much wider renovation works across the property. Michael worked closely with us throughout the entire process—from early ideas and structural planning through to execution. He consistently provided insightful, practical advice that added real value. His ability to anticipate issues early not only prevented problems but also helped us save money by refining the plans to maximise our goals and avoid unnecessary costs. Michael’s broad knowledge and skill set were hugely beneficial on a project of this size and within a tight budget. He made the process far less stressful and, at times, genuinely enjoyable. He kept me informed and involved at every stage, which gave me a great deal of confidence in both the quality of the work and the decisions being made throughout. Michael helped us renovate every corner of our four-bedroom maisonette in West London—from bathrooms and structural opening-up works to a full kitchen renovation, hard landscaping, flooring, and carpentry. The list goes on. His wide skill set and depth of knowledge were truly impressive and exactly what we needed, particularly as we chose to stay closely involved in the renovation rather than hiring a larger construction and project management company.
