We had 2 bathrooms refurbished at the same time by Romulus and his team over a 4 week period. Both bathrooms were completed on time and on budget. We were looking for 2 functional bathrooms, but ended up with 2 very high spec bathrooms within our original budget, and couldn't be happier with the high level of service and professionalism by all his team. We will now move forward and have his team refurbish our kitchen.

I commissioned Darren to put in a suspended floor in my converted garage. His work was excellent and reasonably priced but more importantly it was Darren's knowledge and communication skills that set him aside from most other tradesmen. Throughout the process Darren communicated with me to arrange dates, times, prices and address any questions that I had. However, perhaps Darren's greatest attribute was his respect for my home. He put overshoes on when walking through my house, he cleaned up when the work was complete and took all rubbish away. I would certainly recommend Darren and I have since asked him to quote me for building a lean-to-shed.

Marsel kindly agreed to do a very small job for me of installing two parking bollards. He came on a Sunday with a friend and worked quickly, checking with me that he was putting the bollards exactly where I needed them. He even brought his own power washer to clean up even though it was an outdoor job. Very pleasant, efficient workers.

I recently used AEF Groundworks for two separate issues at one of my rental properties, and I’m very pleased with the service provided. Firstly, they installed a pump system in the cellar to deal with ongoing water ingress. From the initial assessment through to completion, they were knowledgeable, efficient, and clearly experienced in resolving this type of problem. The installation was carried out to a high standard, and everything was explained clearly along the way, which gave me confidence in the solution. In addition, they also identified and resolved a roofing issue that was causing water to enter the property. This was dealt with promptly and professionally, preventing further damage and disruption for the tenants. Throughout both jobs, communication was excellent, they turned up when they said they would, and the work was completed efficiently with minimal hassle. It’s reassuring to have a reliable contractor who can handle both structural and external issues effectively.

Scott is a hard working and conscientious builder. We worked together to complete a 55 cubic meter concrete pour for an agricultural building. JW Carpentry and Build did an upstairs timber frame extension as well as a garage conversion on our property. We are very pleased with the workmanship. Jason did a very good job with the carpentry and Chris and George were friendly and well mannered and were very hard working. Jason kindly paid for the tin roof over the scaffold as we were above budget. We were pleased that there were not too many extras. However there were some delays that we were unhappy about partly due to the weather but overall pleased with the end result.
