I rarely leave negative reviews, but I believe in honesty. Paul started out great, very helpful and a quality job up until the finishing. Extremely poor internal 2nd fix carpentry all had to be redone, constantly promised arrival of trades that didn't turn up and all of a sudden, Paul became barely contactable. Then when I asked about building control which Paul had said was taken care of, no answer. I contacted the council to find out no submissions had ever been made, despite being told they have. It's not impossible to get sign off as I don't have evidence of the correct stages being completed. Now, 6 months on, the whole porch has sagged and after an intrusive inspection, half of the timber joists aren't even fixed! The front door was supposedly ordered, 6 months later we were still waiting and endure a winter with makeshift door! Honestly Paul, if you'd talk I'd have an honest conversation because most of you work is quality. My advice to others, avoid!

Tad and team has done an excellent job and have brought life in my back garden last week. He has completed his job in a short time as promised which enabled me to have a lovely party this weekend. They have done their job professionally. Tad is polite, honest, helpful and approachable. He was ready to make any changes I have came up with while the agreed work was on. We are very happy and satisfied with the new loft bedroom and bathroom. Josh and Dan were professional and punctual throughout the project and the standard of workmanship is outstanding. They cleaned at the end of each day and were always nice and helpful - nothing was too much trouble. I recommend Apex Lofts And Construction to anyone who is considering rebuilding an attic space - a specialized and very qualified company.

Priory Building & Construction have recently completed our kitchen extension which was by no means straightforward as it involved complex structural issues necessitated by the existing building. They started promptly on the agreed date and worked steadily and consistently until completion despite unforeseeable problems arising. Particularly impressive were the way in which the project was actively managed and P&BC's willingness to make themselves available for discussion, on or off site, making positive proposals often involving cheaper means of achieving what we wanted. Their tradesmen were considerate and helpful and all contributed to a greatly enlarged and improved kitchen area with which we are delighted and we are pleased to recommend them. We look forward to seeing them again if our future projects come to fruition.

Bee Builders built a conservatory-style extension to our house. It measures 15ft x 9ft with uPVC windows and double doors with a metal, long life sloping roof with two skylights. The build was completed to a very high standard. Stefan and his team were extremely professional, polite and demonstrated amazing attention to detail. The garden was left clear of all rubbish and the build was completed on time at a very competitive price - 5 star performance🥂

I would highly recommend Stuart and the Red River team. From the outset Stuart provided an extremely detailed quote discussing the details with me a number of times. This gave me reassurance of the approach and costs quoted and that continued throughout the entire period of works. From the start of the work the team were professional, courteous, efficient and friendly. They were on hand to answer questions and deal with any challenges immediately. Multiple times throughout the work the team completed specific tasks so the certain areas of the property were completed as I had a significant portion of the existing property refurbish as well (new flooring throughout entire ground floor, as an example). This was extremely important to me as I reminded in the property throughout. It was very considerate of the team to be able to adjust the schedule to provide me some additional home comforts! As the work progressed I received regular updates, no question or query was too small, and when I added some additional elements those were managed and factored into the job with no fuss! I would highly recommend the Red River team.

I am very happy with the work carried out by Peter and Chris. My new folding doors look really nice and Peter and Chris were friendly polite and even brought their own vacuum cleaner with them! I will certainly use them again for my next project. Would highly recommend Sargeson and Needham.

I would highly recommend Richard C L Pillinger. He has a great respect and understanding for older properties and uses lime in the traditional method to allow floors and walls to breathe. Richard and his partner Iain carried out damp-proofing to two ground floor rooms (my cottage had original pamments on top of earth) and other building work to the rest of the house. The outside walls, constructed of carr-stone and flint were painstakingly re-pointed in places, with lime to replace the old cement. The finish on the internal floors is excellent. Some of the pamments were cleaned and re-used in one room. A wooden floor laid in the other. Richard is a conservator and this shows in his work, sourcing the lime from the local quarry and having an eye for detail. At all times, I was kept informed of progress. Each procedure was clearly explained to me. Richard is polite, friendly and reliable, a true gentleman. He is a great organiser and kept the whole project moving. I am extremely pleased with the end result.
