I DO NOT recommend this trader. The job was very rushed- it felt like on a conveyor belt, quickly to get over with, before moving on to the next customer the following week. Poor communication with the client prior to the start of the job. The deposit requested was way above half of the quoted cost of the job - around 67%-which is too much and hence left the trader less motivated to do the job properly. He left part of the job unfinished and did not come to complete it when requested. He left cement chunks visible and did not make a step down towards my shed and now we have to "jump down" an uncomfortable drop. The slabs he put were not as seen in his catalogue: half of the rows on my patio look brown and half are yellow. When I mentioned this he said that they are from the same batch. However, he could have returned them to the store as they clearly look bad quality. I have visual evidence to demonstrate the bad quality job done by this trader and am now looking for legal advice on logging a complaint or to solicitor a refund.
