Joe responded very promptly and met on site to discuss the works and agree a price in advance. He began the works on the agreed date and completed within the forecast time frame. He was happy to return later to make some minor adjustments. He is a proficient and tidy worker.

Adam and Chris were super when we were collecting quotes for the job, and very responsive to our queries and concerns. There were Brexit, pandemic, and building-regs related delays to starting, and completing, the job, but Adam and Chris always did as much as they could at the time. As did the other guys working for them - a decent bunch of lads. Overall the job was completed to a decent standard and we're happy with the majority of the finish; only problems relate to the plumbing side of the project which are a bit of an annoyance (nothing goes perfectly though, does it?). In short, would we use them again? Yeah.

We recently contracted Scarph & Spirit to undertake a balcony extension with railings and deck, and are extremely pleased with the results. The project involved compliance to Building Control and structural issues whilst maintaining aesthetic elegance. The team have been a pleasure to have at the house and all seem to have a good design appreciation, flagging any issues (and solving) before we’d even had time to discover them. Overall the level of workmanship and design awareness has been second to none, something not so often seen in this industry.

Julian was very friendly, flexible and capable in completing a wide ranging job for us; including knocking through a wall to fit a new doorway, bricking up a door way and replacing it with a new window and helping design and construct an above ground fully insulated wine cellar. He also helped with the various building certification visits (which was very helpful as we had limited knowledge of the requirements). We found Julian's advice on construction materials and practicalities very helpful and were very happy with the clarity and level of costs/timing quoted at every stage. He was also flexible and understanding to changes/additions to the scope of work during the project. Julian seemed to be very happy to work to our timetable in terms of work and budget. After and during all the various stages of work Julian made sure to leave the house in good order, so the work was not too disrupting to our lives. We were very happy and would definitely use Julian again (and recommend others to do so).
