Stephen and his Team were utterly professional, their work was faultless and we couldn't be happy with the job. We had a wall removed in the kitchen which needed a support putting in, and a wall removed in the bathroom and a doorway sealed up. Right from my initial contact with Stephen we got got a good feeling, his quote was the most competitive but we had already decided to go with Stephen anyway as his experience, expertise and integrity were obvious as talked us through the job and what would be required. Their work was fast and to a great standard. We were very impressed with how clean Stephen and his Team managed to keep the house throughout all the work (especially as we have black mortar in the walls), they cleaned up throughly every evening and it made life so much easier on us.

Really pleased with my single storey extension. It's been up 5 months now and no problems. Dean is a great guy to work with and I felt comfortable with him and his team when home alone with small kids. Would use him again and I would recommend him.

We recently completed a loft conversion with Dean and his team at Blakeon, and I couldn't be happier with the result. The workmanship has been excellent throughout, and the new loft space has completely transformed the house while feeling fully integrated with the rest of the property. What really stood out was the communication, reliability and flexibility. As the project progressed, I refined several design decisions before they were finalised, and Dean was always patient, accommodating and willing to discuss options. The project included a number of additional complexities, all of which were handled professionally and pragmatically. I also remained living in the house throughout the build, and the team were consistently respectful, considerate and easy to work with. I would have no hesitation in recommending Dean and his team and am already discussing future projects with him.

Would highly recommend Tim... He was a genuinely nice man, who was a perfectionist & saved me a small fortune! I also liked how he advised to put a small retaining wall to hold the hardcore as the shed base was on sloping ground & would reinforce it. After seeing how well he completed that job I asked about finishing off a long front door step that had been badly done back in the summer - I ordered 15 patio slabs & Tim offered to collect them the following morning Tim called & sent a photo saying ‘they’re a bad match to the oringinal slabs’ & he was right saving me time & money! I sourced a better match & again Tim collected them, skillfully cutting every slab & layinging them perfectly - only charging me an additional £50! Chris was responsive and provided a detailed and competitive quote for the work that needed doing (as well as explaining what we actually needed - three pots, one breather cowl and two solid fuel cowls). Communication on the day was also excellent and the work was completed to a very high standard. We discussed log burners whilst he was here and he returned just over a week later to install one for us, which we are thrilled with. In addition to installing the log burner, Chris knocked out and made good the fireplace for the burner, and cleared our very blocked chimney stack in order to fit the flue. Again, excellent work which was competitively priced. We also batted ideas around for some bigger building work, and won't hesitate to call Chris once we're in a position to proceed. Very grateful Chris took the time to listen to our ideas and advise what would be possible. Extremely knowledgeable and clearly takes pride in his work. Can't recommend highly enough!

I originally booked multiple building companies for a quote for my home improvements. Carl was friendly on initial meeting and give me good explanation on how best to carry out my project with the maximum impact to use my space. He was very efficient in getting back to me with his quotes and I could clearly see the breakdown of each individual project. The timescales that he recommended were also managed within the given timeframe that was advised. The company was very clean and tidy and always made sure that any rubbish was taken and disposed of the same day. The quality of the workmanship was very good and I feel that the standard of finish for the end results were also very good.

It's always tricky hiring a tradesperson without recommendation from a friend. Prior reviews on platforms like this do help and I felt I should add my own voice to Anthony's collection. I just had a good vibe from him when he came to my house to see what my kitchen project was all about. The funny thing is, he gave me the highest quote out of the 3 folks I had contacted via this platform but I hired him anyway. And he didn't disappoint. He did a very good job and went the extra mile. He even did the decoration for me too. I love my new kitchen as it is and friends have admired the quality of the work too. It's beautiful to look at. I didn't do my utility room at the time. Now I will and Anthony will be doing it for me. Excellent job!
